✨Facade without fence
Our facade is still the original developer's. Because it is not allowed to build a fence in front of the house, we finally built a roster wall in the front garden to provide a little privacy.

Low Budget House Materials
We chose acrylic house numbers because of their simple design, affordable prices and relatively easy installation
The kitchen table uses granite to save costs, because the appearance is no less attractive.
The bathroom ceramics are installed high up so that the walls do not peel easily, besides that, the ceramics we use are still affordable compared to ceramics with a similar appearance which are much more expensive.
Motifed terrace ceramics, these ceramics are pocket-friendly, with patterns and colors that still match the color of the house facade, making our terrace look more attractive.

House Facade ✨
The industrial-themed facade of #BruwnHouse is dominated by brown and black colors. Beams using list plank material make the impression of this house tall. Actually, the facade of this house is what caught our attention, because we think it is quite unique and different.
Another material that makes this house even more industrial is the use of hollow iron and PVC ceiling on the canopy roof.

This terrace was made during the pandemic. It was intentionally used as a living room at that time, because I was paranoid about bringing outsiders into the house. Honestly, people rarely visit, because we interact more on the upper floor 🤭

The condition of the facade of the Alfa house after 2 years, only relying on house paint that does not use a lot of paint color, aka predominantly white, so if the color has faded, we will buy white paint again, hehe.
For the miscellaneous part on the facade itself, for the house number, we use a stainless steel chart which is quite cheap.
For the plants on the facade, only horsetail grass grows which is very cheap and very easy to maintain 😅

The facade of the house is very tricky, especially if you buy a developer cluster house that cannot be changed.
You can see the strong Japandi on the facade of this house 😍
We chose this house because we fell in love with its Japandi facade. It has a minimalist touch but the Japaneseness is still strong from the color of the facade.
To make it even more Japanese, we added a canopy with a brown ceiling.

✨ Split Level Facade with Mini Garden
Hi everyone, welcome to our house facade. Actually, our facade uses a design from the developer, but what makes it different from other houses is that we changed the terrace area into a small garden.
To add privacy in the front area of the house, we also added a Roster wall. In addition, because the house area is higher than the garage, we use a leveling system on the facade with stair access from two parts, stairs from the side of the garage & stairs from the front of the house.
Hopefully our facade can be an inspiration for minimalist homes.

The facade of our house has not changed much, when we renovated we only dismantled two pillars that are iconic classic houses.
then we painted the entire exterior including the doors and frames using white paint, and replaced the ceramics on the terrace with wooden motif ceramics, while the car pot section still uses ceramics from the previous owner.
The addition of ornaments on the door and lights and plants attached to the wall beautify this area.

The reason we decided to choose this house is because of its location on the outskirts of the city. The environment is still beautiful with lots of trees & far from the hustle and bustle of the city life which is very busy & crowded.
Returning home feels more comfortable & fresh, because the traffic is not so audible. At night you can hear the sounds of crickets & wind from the trees.

‼️ European Style House Facade Design
The facade is one of the parts that we also renovated. Because we did not use a contractor, let alone an interior designer when renovating, we chose a facade concept that was not too complicated and magnificent but had a unique design by choosing a farmhouse theme.
We were inspired by typical houses in one of the villages in Amsterdam which from the outside give a simple, unique, and elegant impression.
✅️ Wall Material: using textured GRC material that is stacked in tiers.
✅️ Windows & Doors: using PVC material for both frames and doors to prevent termites.
✅️ Carport Roof: using transparent tempered glass to make the house look spacious.
✅️ Artificial Plants & Flowers: to give a homey and aesthetic impression, as well as low maintenance.

🌸 Simply White Aesthetic 🌸
Finally the facade and terrace area of my house changed color ✨
I wanted to change it to a cute color, but I was afraid of getting bored easily, so I finally decided to paint everything white.
The walls, ceiling, door, small terrace, and fence are all white.
I chose white to make it simpler and cleaner, although it will be a bit extra to maintain it later 😅
Repainting this front area has indeed been budgeted for maintenance every 3 years, because if you dare to have a house, you must dare to have a special fund for its maintenance 💸
Then I also made a mudroom in front of the door so that shoes and jackets are neat and don't need to be brought inside, because they are dirty. I used a simple shoe rack made of wood with a light wood color, then I added hooks to hang jackets and helmets so they don't get messy.
Now I also match the color of the cleaning furniture, so that when hung like this it looks neat and harmonious.
The budget for the maintenance area is not too much, only around 1.5 million including the cost of the craftsman.
It is possible to make your house beautiful again with a minimal budget, as long as you are willing to put in more effort to find the most affordable price for its maintenance needs ✨

One of the healings for my mother at home is visiting the green fruit children in the rooftop garden. Especially when the fruit season starts like this.
