Storage ideas in a mini kitchen 🏠 Our kitchen has 2 sides because this house used to be a 2-room house that we made into one building. The renovation slowly made us decide to keep the old kitchen part to be used as a temporary pantry. On the dirty kitchen side, some equipment such as jars, cooking utensils, plates, glasses, spoons and spatulas are arranged in the cabinet to make it look neat. Cooking spices are arranged on wooden shelves and some on rotating shelves to make them easier to reach when cooking. For the pantry side, some kitchen stock, baking ingredients and soap stock are partly arranged in the cabinet. Kitchen and workplace. The area that is most often used to take video content because the sunlight is good here with a skylight roof. although it is not exactly like our dream kitchen, but we are grateful to be able to make it like this now. 2. Slide 2- Corner that makes you feel at home a corner that is specifically for the green children's area, a comfortable place to spend time taking care of plants if you are tired of your daily routine. Slide 3 & 4- Functional area 3. The area in front of the TV that is usually used for sitting on the floor, now we add a lounge chair to make it more comfortable. 4. The corner in front of the door which also functions as a Foyer. More often used to look in the mirror here. Slide 4-6- Before-After or Progress the change that is so different is when the terrace is made over. Initially it was still land left over from the developer for a garden. finally we make over into a multifunctional space while still leaving a little land for a dry garden with low maintenance plants. the corner that used to be a favorite corner is the kitchen area. Just by adding 2 kitchen cabinets and shelves, it can change the atmosphere much tidier and more aesthetic. why not function as a kitchen from the start? Because above this cabinet is a gutter, it used to leak often in this area before finally being repaired several times. Hakohus kitchen is the focal point area of all the rooms in Hakohus, elements of 10x10cm green mosaic ceramics and storage doors using my custom duco paint finishing so that the green color and black spots are similar to the mosaic ceramics that I use for the backsplash, storage places for bottles such as soy sauce, sauces, etc. I made myself using 0.3 mm black acrylic to match the table top which uses matte black HPL. Change the looks of the top table to an affordable one but still functional & aesthetic. 💡 Finally I decided to cover the top table with a new HPL motif. The work was done quickly in 1 day. 💰 The budget I spent was 1,280,000. For the size of the top table 178 x 59 cm & 196 x 59 cm. The kitchen is in line from the top angle, with a white backsplash and a black marble table top. For the table top, it is a leftover ceramic given by parents. And for the backsplash, it uses white ceramic with a brick motif that is exactly the same as on the bathroom wall of @nyamandiomah's house For the stove, it uses a black glass built-in stove so that it blends seamlessly with the color of the table top. Then there is a window with a black list with white curtains that match the tone of the kitchen. Actually, this is a 2-story shophouse, the 2nd floor of which was just completed 1 year ago. Similar to shophouses in general, the 1st floor is used for business and the 2nd floor is for residence. So in 2023 we started building the 2nd floor which really took into account the concept and design according to our wishes. Each room really thought out the concept. But, actually this house is not 100% ready. Slide 1: our innercourt uses a polished plaster finish. Not bad, saves vinyl and work time because at that time the contract at the apartment was running out. Slide 2: confused about what plants to put in front of the house? Just give calathea lutea. Believe it or not? The unit price is 15k🥹🫶🏻 now it has grown tall, has big leaves, and is healthy. It's really easy to care for❤️ Slide 3: kitchen floor, initially I really wanted it to be aesthetic by using Suryo Tiles, but to be budget wise, I ended up using Niro Granite. It just so happens that there is a new motif that is cool and fits our taste. Without thinking twice, just pack it up because it can save several times more 🥹 Slide 4: laundry area, while it's still paving blocks, God willing, we'll make over it using Runnen Slide 5: confused about storing children's toys? ✨ Open Kitchen & Mini Dining Room Our kitchen is located at the back of the house. From the living room, you can immediately see the back area, where the kitchen and indoor garden are located. We utilize the remaining 4x7m land into one open area that we use as a kitchen, coffee corner, laundry room, storage room and garden. Our kitchen has a U-shape, to add space for the food prep area and mini bar. Next to the kitchen is an area that we use as a coffee corner & a place to store our sports needs. We usually do activities in this entire area, coincidentally across from the kitchen is a multipurpose area. A place for children to play while looking at the indoor garden at home.
