Some tips from this 4.5x3 meter room:
1. Good air circulation & access to sunlight.
2. Ensure Security
Because here there are large opening windows facing the street, we added WPC grilles to make it safer and for children to be comfortable doing their activities without being clearly visible from the outside.
3. Mattress height is adjusted to suit the child
4. Shelves that are affordable for children
5. Decorations that are easy to replace
Because children's tastes change quickly with age, we use:
- Paint the walls a neutral color
- Wall stickers that are easy to remove and install
- We only place color & pattern accents on bed sheets/wall art which are easy to replace

For the children's room, I deliberately custom made a bunk bed like this, because I wanted the area to be more efficient and neater for them to store their toys.
The size of this bunk bed is quite large, 3.5 m and full ceiling height.
