Make Over Kitchen into an open space
Previously, this kitchen had a wall next to the stairs and a wall next to the living room. But we dismantled it to make it feel spacious. We painted the wall near the stairwell with another color so that it was not monotonous or as a separator for the kitchen and stairs.

The journey of a house that continues to grow, starting from a second house that we renovated at the end of 2019. Until now, it has undergone many changes.
The kitchen area, which is the icon of our house, has undergone 3 changes, from changing the color of the HPL and widening the kitchen table, to installing vinyl in 2024
The bedroom that we renovated a little in 2024 by installing vinyl and changing the paint color
The living room area is really different, after installing vinyl, the ambiance of the room became warmer.
The bathroom changed completely at the end of 2024, we renovated it completely
The laundry area, at the beginning of this year is under renovation, from semi-outdoor to indoor.
Slowly we continue to grow to realize our dream home.

The kitchen material uses plywood finishing HPL for the upper cabinets. For the lower cabinet, the finish is Duco black gray paint. For the table top, Quadra material is used.
The combination of wood & duco gray emphasizes the theme of this kitchen, namely Japandi mix industrial.

This is the appearance of the corner of the bar table that I often use. Especially for cooking or plating food shoots. because I really like cooking and also posting food and cooking, so this space is quite helpful in making videos more aesthetic.
- for the top table I use from Daisy Kitchen set which has a table top made of MDF coated with melamine, so that when cooking ingredients are spilled it can be easily wiped and cleaned.
- I also added wood panels on the wall to have a minimalist Japandi feel according to the theme of my house
- to give a sweet and fresh impression, I added hanging grass decorations and gave it a unique clock so it's easy to see how long it's been cooking π

- the rest I gave green from black iron to put the cooking recipe so it's easy to see.

Cleaning Kitchen
Before leaving for homecoming, we usually always clean the house including the kitchen area.
Make sure there is no leftover food, trash is thrown out, no piles of dishes.
If the house is clean, when you go home, your mood will be happy π€

Kitchen organizing tips to make it look neat & beautiful π§βπ³β¨
πͺ If there are a lot of furniture, increase the number of closed cabinets & minimize open cabinets. Open cabinets can be for frequently used items / decorations.
π½οΈ If you want to display some cutlery in the open cabinet, so that it is easy to reach. Choose kitchenware with bright & neutral colors.
ποΈ Storage in the lower cabinet I store frequently used items. While the upper cabinet is for storing rarely used items.

Update Kitchen Casadirio 2025.
One of the reasons we chose a kitchen island with wheels is to change the layout of the kitchen so that it doesn't get boring to look at. We also added some plants to make our kitchen look more alive.

My Dream Kitchen.
I've always wanted to have an aesthetic Japandi kitchen. It doesn't need to be big but it can be functional and enough for me to use it every day.

Kitchen Cabinets Used as Small Storage.
In casadirio, we have quite a lot of kitchen cabinets that we use as small storage to store things other than kitchen stuff. We use it as a place to store our pets' stuff, our camping stuff, etc.
On the other side (slide 2) we made a small shelf to add decoration to our kitchen space.
