- Kitchenset Without Upper Cabinets Can Still Look Clean -
Learning from the previous kitchen conditions, there were many equipments that were rarely used or even never touched at all because of being lazy to take from the upper cabinets. This time we were determined to have kitchen details according to our needs. The absence of upper cabinets (except the cabinet above the refrigerator) turned out to be enough for us as an effort to be wiser in having goods. Here is the arrangement that we applied to make the kitchen look cleaner:
1. Maximize the remaining space next to the dispenser as a pull-out shelf for snacks, sachet drinks, and medicines.
2. Four stacked shelves next to the stove are used for all eating and drinking utensils.
3. Closed cabinet under the island table to store cooking utensils and food containers.
4. Open cabinet under the island table as a shelf for onions and rice boxes.
5. The pull-out shelf next to the gas cabinet is a spice rack.
6. The cabinet at the front of the island is more than enough to store lunch boxes and drinking bottles, as well as a stock of bottled water and dry food for street feeding.

Before the renovation, this kitchen was more dominated by minimalist white for the kitchen set and after the renovation I changed it completely to Japandi with more dominant wood elements and wood color for the HPL. I changed the size of the kitchen set itself completely to be more full to the ceiling area and increased the lighting so that the kitchen atmosphere looks more beautiful and aesthetic.

Our first house that we got after 4 years of our marriage.. and it doesn't feel like it's already been 3 years since we've lived there. And if it's meant to be, the path will be made easier.
The first reason for choosing the current house was that it was in accordance with our capabilities at that time. The price of a house with a land area of 90m2 with a sturdy and good building quality because the developer is trusted at a price of only 400 million. Although the location of the house is quite far from the city, the benefit we get is a complex environment that is still very beautiful. Which we think is good for the growth and development of our children, God willing.

- Open Space Kitchen & Dining Concept on Limited Land -
Let's transform a standard developer house from 2013 that was originally full of partitions, into a house with an open space concept where the kitchen, dining, and living room are united without partitions.
Although the building area is not that big, we still make an indoor garden as an opening so that the inside of the house still gets good light and air circulation. There are not many colors and furniture in the interior of the house to maintain the impression of a spacious house.

We applied this mini bar design because we like Japanese style design, besides the kitchen size is only 2x3 meters. Navy and wood colors are the characteristics of this house.
The presence of wood material makes the room look warm and adds to the appeal of the kitchen. We also applied a mini bar as a sweetener as well as a dining room area and a partition between the kitchen area and the TV area so that our room has an open space concept.
To beautify the mini bar, we added aesthetic hanging lights and hanging flowers on the side. This place is a favorite spot for families.

Yessss this is our decision to choose to install the upper cabinet and refrigerator dispenser cover first so that it looks aesthetic and neat
Because our furniture is not too much, everything can be maximized in the arrangement in the upper cabinet, namely storage for jars, snack stocks, bowls, etc.

So we just cover the lower area with curtains under the kitchen

We really wanted to have a kitchen island in this kitchen. But because of the limited budget for the renovation, we finally decided to use this teak dining set.
So far we have no regrets, because it is very functional. In addition to eating, we often use it to just chat, cook or even work here ๐
We can also move this table when quite a lot of guests/relatives/neighbors visit, so the open space room is not too narrow.
Oh yes, teak wood has high durability and is also very easy to maintain.
