For the kitchen, I still choose white - wood brown - and cream. Originally, the backsplash was a noble ceramic brick motif, but I covered it with a super easy DIY. I only used plywood covered with light gray paper. On the top there is a warm white LED strip light. Kitchen & dining with Japandi theme with wood and white nuances. The area is not so spacious but still comfortable, with an area of 3x4 m2.
With the concept of an open space house where the main door is directly visible from the living room to the kitchen, so in our opinion arranging the kitchen and dining is a fairly important point so that the view inside the house remains harmonious, comfortable and attractive.

Hello, through this post I want to share tips on how I style my dream kitchen
This kitchen is a ready-made kitchen from ikea knoxhult. Consists of 2 cabinets, mine are 120 cm and 80 cm long with each being 85 cm high and 60 cm wide
To save space to make it look spacious, I use an induction stove. Near the stove, I added a spice rack made of teak wood along with spice bottles with bamboo lids that match the color of the table top.
In addition, to make cooking easier, I also added a white and wood themed spatula set near the stove
For the backsplash, it's not made of ceramic, but rather a sticker with the same motif as the ceramic ☺️☺️
I also didn't forget to add a shelf with a length of 80 cm to store some functional and decorative kitchen equipment (wooden cutting boards, picnic baskets, tissue towels and artificial plants) ☺️☺️

With a house that is not so large, we apply the open space concept where there are no partitions that separate the rooms, so that the room looks more spacious, not only that, the room is also not stuffy because the air circulation and light are also better.
In addition, the selection of furniture is minimalist and not too much. So that the appearance is not monotonous, we apply a different interior theme in each zone. The living room area is more colorful and cheerful with a mid-century modern concept while the dining & kitchen area with a touch of Japandi is calmer and more serene.
The Japandi kitchen area facing the garden is limited by folding glass doors so it is more beautiful and spacious.
We also use multifunctional furniture such as different sofas and tables with storage. Also the addition of storage cabinets keeps the house neat and functional.

The kitchen is adjacent to the dining table and without partitions, also to the living room area, it is truly open space, there are no partitions at all. The room becomes more spacious, air circulation and light remain good, especially since we have glass folding doors that lead to the innercourt yard.
