Hello !
I want to share the latest update on my work space, so from the start the concept was to want it to be all white, so that when added with pastel color details it looks prettier but not stuffy.
Because I can't paint the walls white yet, I used wallpaper stickers like that first hehe
Basically, my tip is that if the room size is limited, using white items will make it look more spacious.

The mood I want to achieve from this room is clean, neat, but not boring. Therefore, I use furniture that is dominated by white so that it gives a clean impression but still adds green accents from plants and soft pastel colors from the fun figure decorations so that it stays fresh and not monotonous 🤍

One of the keys to making a room feel more comfortable and cozy is warm lighting. This can be achieved by using bulbs with a yellowish tone.
Therefore, in order to make my room a comfortable place, I chose various types of mood lamps that were placed on the table or hanging.
One of my favorite mood lamps is a small moon-shaped lamp. Apart from its small shape and bright enough light, the texture of the lamp is also very realistic so it is interesting to look at.
The placement of lights is also very influential in determining the ambiance and mood of the room. Therefore, I placed various lamps at different heights, some I placed on the lower table, some I placed on the high table, and some hung.
And the last thing to note if you have lots of mood lamps is: don't ever turn on the big light. The main light will beat/overpower the light from the small lights that you have spread in various corners of the room.

Welcome to this little reading corner in my space!📚 I don't have a living room, so let me share about this spot instead. I've loved reading since I was little, and this corner feels like a mini version of my dream home library.
I chose a comfortable chair that matches the simple style of my room, perfect for relaxing without being too 'slouchy'. Beside it, there's a small table for the book I'm reading and my favorite tumbler, and a minimalist floor lamp for additional light. On the window, I display mini flower brick toys to make it even cuter!🌸 I also like to write quotes or insights from the books I read, so I stick those notes on the window glass. It's great because I can easily read them whenever I want, and they add a bit of personality to the space.
On the wall, there's a shelf where I arrange my books and display some of my favorite mugs. What I like is that this shelf is adjustable, so I can change the arrangement easily🥹. Underneath, there's a trolley where I store books and reading essentials like bookmarks, sticky notes, and highlighters. It makes everything easy to grab when I’m in the middle of a good book🤓👍🏼
I chose minimalist furniture for this corner so that it wouldn’t be too crowded because there were already quite a lot of books and knickknacks. Neutral colors and simple furniture shapes keep my room looking neat.
This is my favorite corner in my space, where I can dive into stories and let my mind wander. It’s amazing how a small corner can bring so much joy and comfort 🩵🛋️

The choice of lights & color of the lights will influence your mood subconsciously, for example, the photos on slides 1-3 that I uploaded show the same lights but give a different impression in each photo because the colors of the lights are different.
I want to create a warm impression in the room to improve my good mood after coming home from work.

✨Ghibli-Inspired Desk Setup✨
For me personally, creating a peaceful and dreamy atmosphere in my desk setup is an obligation. Moreover, I really like rewatching heartwarming films, including films produced by Studio Ghibli at night.
It felt like I was postponing for too long for this or that reason, so I finally decided to makeover my desk since elementary school. If you look in detail, there are definitely a lot of "scratches" on the table area, that's why I make it a habit to apply this tip: add more Ghibli themed decorations. Starting from the use of artificial plants (to cover defects on the study table), ambient lights (to make the lighting on the table look more beautiful), to trinkets or small plushies of Ghibli characters.
For Ghibli themed furniture, I usually buy it directly at the official Ghibli store "Donguri Sora" via a consignment service or entrust it to a friend who has just traveled to Japan.

Some of the product tags in this post are in the low budget category that I got at an orange shop, they are quite filling this multi-purpose room, how come it's a multi-purpose room? yup! it can be a living room, family room, relaxing room, watching movies, it's also called a boarding house/rented house, right 🤭
And the way you arrange it also suits your mood, hehe. BTW, I want to add something like that, but I'm still confused, I'm still scrolling through the orange shops & green shops first, hahaha 🤏🏼😅

How I Styled My Green Room ☁️
The way I style my room at home so that it remains aesthetic and fresh, I mix and match green bedding with pink striped motifs.
To add to the cozy atmosphere, I turned on a mood lamp as a light as well as a unique aesthetic decoration.
