๐ Open Space Kitchen and Dining ๐
Because the area of this house is not too big, I applied the open space concept in almost all rooms, including the kitchen and dining table areas.
For the color palette, I carried a more dominant gray-white-black-and light wood color, beautified with green artificial plant decorations and other decorative items that are not only beautiful but can also be used to support activities in the kitchen and dining room.
There are quite a lot of shelves in our house, because that is our effort to maximize the space on the walls as a place to store goods because it is not possible to use many cabinets. The homework is that you have to be smart in choosing the items that we will put on the shelves.

Modern Minimalist House. This carries a modern minimalist and youthful concept. Although it seems simple, each room looks unique and different in general.
Minimalist room corner.
This Curvy Standing Mirror looks elegant and beautiful in the corner of the room, plus artificial rubber tree decorations, jumbo pots and bar chairs.
There is a sliding glass door to the back terrace of the house providing maximum lighting during the day, transparent curtain vitrage as a barrier so as not to glare.
Above it is added a minimalist pendant chandelier as a sweetener.
Additional disco ball decoration for light play.
Home prayer room
A comfortable prayer room for worship. With cute decorations and adorable lights, an aesthetic carpet also serves as a prayer mat. Round bedside tables to store prayer clothes neatly, also brochure shelves that are used as bookshelves and the Qur'an.
The walls of the prayer room are given a touch of unique precut mosaic ceramics.
Corner of the room between the bathroom and the studio room.
Here, so that it doesn't look empty, the walls are fitted with aesthetic frames, as well as aesthetic cheese-style chairs. In front of the studio room, there is a cute and unique TV-shaped mat.
In front of the studio room, there is a sofa, unique arch-shaped pillows and a sofa blanket are visible.
The door frame of our room is still a classic shape as the original home. The temporary door paint is neutral brown.
Service Area
The laundry room in our house also carries a minimalist concept. This area is located outside on the back terrace of the house and is an open space. So we need mini curtains (cloth posters) to cover the washing machine so that it doesn't get wet from the rain. Above the washing machine, we added a multi-purpose shelf and a stacked trolley on the side to store soap equipment.
The roster in this laundry room is a barrier covering the water pump and the warehouse inside (broom holder, etc.). We chose a beautiful terrazzo motif for the floor.

Under Stairs Space โจ
In this space under the stairs we make a place to store goods (warehouse). In front of it there is a little space we utilize by placing a table and chairs, usually we use it to just have coffee/tea while doing light work, such as writing, drawing, scrolling, etc.

The total size of the kitchen and dining room in this house is 4x2.2m.
There are no partitions or even partitions on purpose, so that it feels spacious and more free when cooking and preparing food.
The dining table in this house only consists of 4 chairs, according to the number of members of our family.
The kitchen table is only 2.2m long, but it is enough for our cooking and washing dishes.
The walls of the dining room are deliberately painted differently with wall molding so that there is a more prominent impression among the other rooms in this house, and also given a little wall decor from my own DIY.
This open space concept is very suitable for our house which has a land area of only 75 metersโจ

Because the size of the house is not too big but still wants to be aesthetic, I have to be smart in choosing items that are aesthetic but have maximum function, not only as decoration and sweetener, but also vice versa, for example in the curtains under the kitchen, kitchen cabinets, chairs, tablecloths and the details in the kitchen and dining room.
I choose all these items with matching colors and are suitable to be combined.
I often change the function of the step stool for a display place when not in use.
I also choose electronic equipment such as dispensers or built-in stoves that have matching colors and aesthetic shapes, but still with the consideration of affordable prices in their class.
I usually choose white, black, or pastel colors mixed with gold to fit the theme of this house.
Everyone must be smart in choosing it so that it doesn't pile up and eventually get confused about where to put it ๐

๐ Kitchen & Dining Styling ๐
The kitchen and dining area are integrated, so as much as possible the theme and color should also be similar, so that they do not clash and are more harmonious.
After experiencing the disaster of the kitchen set being eaten by termites until it was destroyed, I used shelves made of Dutch teak wood as a replacement, because the budget was limited. On the shelves I put various items that are used for cooking activities, but as much as possible I looked for ones that could also be decorative elements.
For the dining room, I deliberately only put a few items on the table, so that I could freely put food and eat with my family, because the size of this dining table is only 80x120cm, which is quite tight for 4 family members.
In the dining table area, I deliberately did not install a carpet, to make it easier for small children to pull chairs when they want to sit down.
Because the size of the kitchen & dining in our house is not too large and tends to be tight, as much as possible I minimize the items that are visible in this area, especially those that are less aesthetic, so that it doesn't look cramped, so I store these items in a safe or under the kitchen table.
