1. Affordable and more durable fabric lanterns as a replacement for our old lampshades. It turns out that the presence of this orange lantern has a big impact on the overall style of the house (japandi x mid century) and the ambiance at night has changed a lot.
2. Doormat in the kitchen. Previously, I only used a regular towel mat so it was easy to shift and get dirty easily. This time we chose a mat made of synthetic leather which is easier to clean and the rubber underneath makes it no longer shift. The motif also provides a decorative element and color in our kitchen.
3. Cable storage. Previously, the cables in the work room were very messy. Because we needed a lot of power outlets, we used a fairly large box with a color that matched the style of our house.

This is what my room looks like at night 🌝 Honestly, I enjoy my room way more at night. I’m not a big fan of ceiling lamps (I almost never turn them on🥲) instead, I fill the room with cute ambiance lamps. I have 5 ambiance lamps: 3 floor lamps, 1 pleated lamp, and 1 led lamp that I installed under the bookshelf. The warm light from these lamps makes the room much cozier at night🌃🩵

Our Master Bedroom is designed simply and functionally. Dominated by wooden elements in all the furniture that we custom ordered from Jepara. For the walls, paint it plain white to make it look spacious. The floor uses SPC to make it more durable.
This color tone was chosen to create a warm and comfortable mood.
There are windows that are large enough for natural light and air circulation, so that it is not damp.

Having a lot of books but limited space is always a fun challenge, and that’s what makes styling my reading corner even more special.
I installed an adjustable shelf on the wall, so that the floor area can be used for a chair, table, and lamp.
