One of the most important things we prioritize when building a house is that there must be a place to wash and dry clothes that is not visible from the outside because in our opinion, drying clothes outside the house will reduce the aesthetics of the house and the clothes will also get dusty again
We built this laundry room on the remaining land behind our house which is about 3mx3m, we made it adjacent to the indoor mini garden to make it look more beautiful than the living room
The materials we use for this laundry room are:
- Wooden decking floor
- Roaster stone painted white as a divider with the mini garden
- Ornamental grass type decking floor
- Black coral stone to add a natural impression to the garden
- Wall shelves for laundry soap and other equipment to make it look neat
- Wall clothes hangers that can be pulled and folded again so that they don't take up much space
- Glass roof as protection from rain but sunlight can still enter so that clothes dry quickly

A room with a different concept, with unfinished walls, industrial without a ceiling, and wooden accents that make this room unique. To add light, Bolu added window glass & used a full body mirror to support exercise activities & make the room look more spacious.

‼️ This lounge/indoor backyard has a multifunction that can be used not only as a place to relax/gather, but also as a prayer room. So several times when there is an event, this area can be used as a prayer room for female guests. We did not make a special prayer room because the mosque is right across the cluster.
This area is also one of the best photo spots in our house. Because every time there is an event, we definitely capture the moment in this area.

In this main staircase area, to get the style and ambiance we want, we use several materials that we think are alternative materials that are still functional and aesthetic:
- Vinyl flooring (as an alternative to parquet or wood flooring) - still cool, easy to maintain and aesthetically pleasing like solid wood
- Stair railings using wire mesh (as an alternative to railings with iron or wood) - minimalist and aesthetic
- Stair railings using wooden blocks coated with HPL (as an alternative to solid wood) - efficient, many color alternatives and aesthetic

If the front of my house still looks like the developer's version... well, that's because I haven't done anything to it🥲 The facade is still pending because I'm still confused.. I'm diligently scrolling for inspiration, wondering what I want the front of the house to look like.
But during the renovation yesterday, there was a little upgrade to make it more pleasing to the eye: the walls were repainted to be brighter, the main door was coated with wood-patterned HPL + replaced with a smart door lock, and I made the windows a little bigger and simpler. It's not a total makeover yet, but at least it looks fresher now!
