- Exposed Brick: Cheap material to get exposed brick vibes. Because exposed brick is definitely more expensive in terms of neatness, materials and supporting finishing.
- Cut Ceramic for Backsplash: if you want to get a ceramic kit-kat mosaic vibe but budget friendly? This is the solution. Because the unit price is only 11,000 ish 🫶
- Hanging storage rack: to store skincare and others to make it neater. Obviously this is cheap and cheerful! Less than 1 million!
- Vynil flooring: This is a big decision for me. Because I'm actually a granite team. This vinyl can change the atmosphere of the house to be different. Because I get bored easily, I can change the floor color without removing the old ceramics!

Affordable materials can be a big change, like my living room, which originally had old patterned ceramic floors, now looks like it has been transformed when replaced with Vinyl Flooring. Budget-friendly decoration
This room has a budget-friendly decoration, but it still looks aesthetic, for the floor I used vinyl so it's more economical, I thought about removing the tiles but after thinking about it, it's better to just cover it with vinyl. For the wall paint, I chose white to make it look brighter & more spacious, for the table & chairs I chose Informa products, the price is pocket-friendly.

Affordable materials in #rumahmaknaa
One of the most expensive costs when building a house is finishing. From the start, we wanted a house with wooden elements to give a warm impression. Honestly, we wanted to use teak wood which is known to be strong and durable but it's expensive 😫.
Due to the limited budget, we finally adjusted some things, for example:
1. Choosing to use Dutch teak wood instead of teak wood as stair treads. The price is much cheaper than teak wood and thank God it's still good after 3 years.
2. Choosing to use vinyl instead of parquet flooring. In addition to being cheaper, vinyl flooring is also claimed to be durable.
In addition, another room that we adjusted the budget for was the bathroom. We used subway tile wall tiles which are affordable.
Currently, there are more affordable materials that are functional and aesthetic. The key is to find out a lot. Hopefully the information is useful🤍.

Our first house that we got after 4 years of our marriage.. and it doesn't feel like it's already been 3 years since we've lived there. Initially, this living room was really plain, like something was missing. But because I just finished building a house, my wallet was running low, so I thought about how to decorate it but still save money hhehehe.
Finally, I decided to decorate the wall behind the sofa. I only used shelves and inexpensive accessories. The accessories can be adjusted to each person's taste~
I put an abstract painting because my husband forbade me to put up my own photos (he said it would be embarrassing, haha!). Then because I like plants but am not good at taking care of real ones, I just chose an artificial one.
If I had a bigger budget, I could add a wood-patterned floor like vinyl or spc, I happened to add spc. It makes the room warmer, more cozy.

We adjust the style of our kitchen set to our needs and the area of our house. We use vinyl flooring to make the house feel more homey. Cupboards, cabinets, kitchen sets are all custom orders. Previously, this living room only had a sofa, a small table, and a simple carpet.
It was functional, but it still felt empty and not "warm".
After slowly rearranging it, I started adding:
✨ Vertical wood panels so that the room is not flat and has a Japandi accent
