Even though my work space is minimalist, I have made it as multi-functional as possible for washing, ironing and drying. I gave it a skylight so it's brighter and the clothesline is safe when it rains.😊

The laundry room is not yet perfect but is functioning as it should. The old school 2 tub machine that always helps me to wash clothes is accompanied by a mini black rack but fits a lot to store clothes washing needs.
Limited funds meant that this temporary exposed wall turned out to last for a year hehehe. No problem, hopefully in the future this room can be even more beautiful.

This minimalist laundry room I combined with the bathroom of course to save space in this limited-sized house. But without reducing the function and aesthetics of course. By installing electrical cables and faucets in the area behind the washing machine, it is intended that this small area still looks neat and clean because it is not exposed.

Our laundry room is located at the front of the house which greatly influences the facade.
The size is not very large, only 2x3 m.
Simple design and simple decoration, but sufficient for our daily drying needs.

We often call it a service room, because this room is not only a place to wash, but also to put the service needs in our house.
The materials used in this room are quite affordable
1. We deliberately chose a 20x20 matte type floor so that it is not slippery, this is also cheaper than its class. 1 box under 100k
2. For the service room walls, we chose a glossy ceramic type measuring 20x20 cm. Due to budget constraints, only half the wall was installed, not up to the canopy ceiling. The price per box is also under 100k.
3. For the interior, we still use our old kitchen cabinets that are still usable. Only the shape is modified a little so that it can fit the washing machine.
4. The corner shelves and organizer containers are also very cheap. If I'm not mistaken, the price is under 50k for the shelves and 20k for the organizer container. The minimalist looks also make this service room look neater & more aesthetic.
5. Don't forget we also add a few affordable decoration items from IKEA, namely artificial plants priced under 100k.
Neat & Aesthetic doesn't have to be expensive.
Let's use as much as possible items that are still usable and can be modified first so that the looks still look attractive ✨
