Scandinavian Bed Room for Kids
Creating a simple but super cozy children's room with a touch of 3 neutral color combinations, namely gray, and white & wood as key elements of Scandinavian colors according to the main theme of our house. The addition of mountain motifs from gray color gradations on the walls adds a perfect decorative element. Children's rooms don't have to be luxurious and spacious but functional.

The favorite place that children like is their own room.
This room is not only used for sleeping but also for playing.
We added some trofast shelves to store various toys for our children. We also put a bookshelf on the wall for the children as a mini library.
This room is not spacious enough, only 2.5 x 3 m, so we added a vinyl carpet to make it look more homey and the children are free to sit on the floor.

Since I have a very active little kid, I need kid-friendly items. Well, this is the kid-friendly furniture that I use to make the house feel comfortable and safe for my little one💕
Here are some tips from me:
• Provide shelves that are easy for kids to reach to display their work
• The bed is on the floor/low height so that kids can get up and down easily. You can use a low bed frame.
• Toy boxes are provided in the form of small boxes so that toys can be grouped, and kids don't get tired of tidying them up

when I first decorated this child's room, the first thing I wanted to do was use a special wardrobe for children so that it would be easy to reach their own clothes and a soft carpet.

✨ Child-Friendly Children's Room ✨
The children's room in this house deliberately does not use a bed frame, because it is not necessary and so that the children are safer if (God forbid) they fall when sleeping or playing on the bed.
The mattress we use is a springbed in a box that is soft enough so that the children are comfortable and easy for us to carry upstairs because the stairs in this house are not too wide, then equipped with a fur blanket that is not too thick to minimize the possibility of SIDS, which can be caused by dolls or blankets that are too thick. We attach wallfoam to the corner of the bed to reduce impact on the child.
For the granite floor material, I also use non-glossy granite, so that it is not slippery.
We deliberately use a plastic cupboard in this room so that it is safer for children and to anticipate the possibility of moisture and termites, but we still choose a cupboard that matches the theme with a white color so that it is cleaner and more aesthetic.
We also choose children's toys and equipment that are safe for children, but the color must still match the theme so that children are still happy with colored items but the room still looks neat and beautiful. The white paint in this room is deliberately glossy, so that it is easier to clean when the children scribble on the walls, even though I have taught them to write on paper since early on.

This is our child's playroom measuring 2.5x3m. We fill it with various toys stored on trofast shelves. We also put a children's wardrobe in this room that we made custom in Jepara furniture.
Here we spend more time accompanying our children to play or just read books.

In building @zenhouse.id, we did consider child-friendly materials and furniture. Because ghaizan himself has been involved since the first time we thought about the design and function of each room in @zenhouse.id🥰😍 so how can we build a house that makes kids feel at home🫶🏻
For the floor material, we deliberately used vinyl flooring considering that later when ghaizan learns to walk it won't be too slippery. Then, ghaizan himself apparently likes to lie on the floor and uniquely, this vinyl is not too cold so it's still safe for example ghaizan tbtb lies on the floor lol
The code we use is Vynil Taco - Cherry Afromosia, yes, the @zenhouse.id family🌼
Then indeed in the family room there is a space with different leveling which is intended to be a small prayer room, but we haven't given any clues so now it has been allocated as a mini playground for ghaizan. Some of ghaizan's favorite toys are also always in the "ghaizan zone" so that his child is more comfortable and happy 🥰 air circulation is also quite maintained with the presence of windows that we can swing outwards or inwards. Btw many people ask what the frame material is, it's made of iron, @zenhouse.id family 🫶🏻
In addition, realizing that our child is super active, we also installed a mattress divider from Kisubo which at least can be a divider so that ghaizan doesn't roll down while sleeping. Super simple children's bathroom🚿🛀✨
Many levels of children's independence start from the bathroom. Since the age of 2, children have been trained to be independent with toilet training, then continue to learn to brush their teeth by themselves, and now at the age of 5 they have learned to take a bath by themselves.
trofast cupboard: children can choose their own clothes with the right height for children. I put my child's toothpaste and toothbrush on top of it in a glass, making it easy for him to take and return them without help.
children's toilet: I took toto because it is easy to clean. A folding stool is used for my 2-year-old child when he washes his hands and brushes his teeth. Bathroom equipment is sufficient with 1 corner shelf made of steel wire.

🐣 My toddler's room who is only 2 years old. A bed and play area.
🛏️ I chose a 120x200 mattress without a divan because I was worried that my child would fall because he was an active sleeper.
🪵 With wood-patterned granite that is less maintenance but still gives a warm & aesthetic impression
🗄️ There are many cabinets, some of which are made of plastic so that they are not susceptible to moisture & mold. The advantage is that they are easy to move when renovating the interior of the room.
🧸 To keep it looking neat, I store most of my child's toys in an organizer box above the cabinet.
💨 Because this housing is still under construction & dusty, I keep an air purifier to filter the air in the room area.
🪞 There are still many things I need to add such as wall stickers & various lights so that the room's vibes are more fun & kids friendly🫶🏻✨

Kindergarten Children's Room That Is Still Plain
Honestly, this room is rarely neat, more often messy with toys. Yes, because this room is the room of our third child who is still in kindergarten.
