✨Terrace Journey✨
Previously, the terrace of this house was just a cast stand with exposed cement as it is😂
However, as time went by, we realized that we needed a larger and more appropriate space to accommodate guests visiting the house because our living room was not large.
Finally, we renovated the terrace using inspiration on social media and several decoration applications. We want to make this terrace more comfortable and suitable as a gathering place when guests come to the house.

Facade and Terrace 🏡
GH House just got a house number after a long time 🤭 the first slide photo was taken in the afternoon. The canopy roof is deliberately made in the letter L so that air can still enter the house, air circulation remains good and if it rains the water will directly hit the heliconia and mini ketapang trees in long pots between the roster fence. To make it look more beautiful and green, we added synthetic grass carpet and Terazzo flooring to the terrace

The bedroom which was previously used for storage purposes was finally transformed into this after a makeover using shiplap wall battens and painted "picnic summer" green.
The reason for choosing green on the wall panel walls is to make the room feel fresher and more colorful, while at the same time matching several decoration items which mostly combine with the color green.

➖ Low Budget Decoration
Since we first moved in, we have decorated this tiny house more with #lowbudget and #DIY.
It also happened that during the 2020 makeover, there were no products like #wallbatten #wallpanelpvc etc. So we made our own with Dutch teak wood planks which are easier to find and cheaper.
With just the capital of the home inspiration platform media, we can decorate the house according to our wishes, also more economical and pocket-friendly.
In this living room and TV room, we made the wallbatten, shelves, and #slatwall accents ourselves from Dutch teak wood which we painted or coated with HPL stickers. Thank God it's still durable for 4 years.

Hello, let's get to know my mini terrace 🥰
On this terrace we created an industrial look, a combination of cement gray, black hollow list and wood-colored ornaments.
In this area, why are there 2 doors? The door on the left is the main door, while the right side is the side door. Our goal in making 2 door accesses is, if there are guests and someone wants to enter through the side door, without leeat the living room area 🥰.

The living room in this terrahauz is quite small, but feels spacious because there is a void above it which is quite high. Because there are voids, so that the room doesn't look "empty" I deliberately chose decorative items that were quite large. For example, a full-body-size arch mirror and wall art measuring 120x120cm above the sofa. It's quite influential, it makes the space feel more filled and has soul🤗
For these quite large items, I ordered them custom at a glass & frame shop in the Cicada area, Bandung City. The prices are really cheaper than in e-commerce and large furniture stores. For this large frame the price is only 150 thousand and for the 160cm high mirror it only costs 350 thousand.

Make the Living Room look more Fancy with Shelves decoration 😍
My husband and I made these shelves or wall shelves ourselves, aka #DIYLowBudget. We bought Dutch teak wood boards the size of the width of the living room wall, and covered them with PVC stickers with wood grain motifs.
The function of this shelf, apart from saving space, I use it to store decorative collection items and the plus point is that the living room looks more fancy!

Spill low budget decor:
Ash carpet measuring 160x210, bought 2 years ago for 200 thousand and is still durable. Then there is the Beige tassel throw blanket which costs only IDR 100 thousand, the rattan basket costs IDR 30 thousand, and several cushions which cost IDR 20 thousand which can make the atmosphere of this room more comfortable & warm.
Because aesthetics don't always have to be expensive :)
