This is my tiny kitchen at Daśa Cavana. This kitchen is 1.8 meters long with a table height of 85 centimeters, and is one with the dining area. I chose caramel walnut brown and gray to match the overall theme of the house. Even though it is small, I adjusted the layout of this kitchen to the cooking sequence that I learned in the world of architecture, namely refrigerator - sink - stove. The distance between the sink and stove is sufficient for me to use in preparing cooking ingredients. Still like other areas, I organize cooking tools and ingredients in closed shelves. I minimized the items on the kitchen table so I could feel more free. Still choosing a theme that doesn't run away from Modern American House, we chose a kitchen set model with a timeless appearance with a White-Wood theme, At the beginning the kitchen toptable was made in white with a touch of marble motif, but as time went by the hostess reached boredom, so a DIY project was undertaken which changed the appearance of the marble toptable to wooden by covering it with a thick PVC sticker which is water & heat resistant, so far it has been used. It's been 3 years and it's still safe... When we first started wanting to live in this house, what we did was renovate the developer's initial building by moving the kitchen to the back. You can see in the last 3 slides the initial shape of the inside of this house. The process of starting to renovate and fill this house took approximately 2-3 months, and this is our 5th month of living in this new house. This year we decided to remodel our kitchen, the previous HPL color was brighter and yellow, now we are changing the HPL to a brownish wood color so that it gives a warmer impression, without abandoning the Japanese concept. We also changed the table part to gray from the previous light wood color The backsplash was also changed from a square bevel to a pre-cut tile or what is usually called a KitKat motif. We also added additional storage, namely cupboards under the stairs, because the space for our kitchen is not very large, we used the space under the stairs for the kitchen area and storage. In order to save costs when arranging this kitchen, we decided to only make a closing door at the bottom of the table top, not cast concrete, which was original to the developer of the house. We ordered the closing doors from a local craftsman. For a size of 4x1.7m, the total price required to make a closing door from teak mixed with rattan is Rp. 6.5 million (including installation services). Oh yes, to anticipate termites and fungus, we also ordered that the doors be given anti-termite and anti-fungal coating. The bottom of the kitchen remains open without partitions because we only installed doors without compartments. The kitchen is a very important area in my house. Apart from its position which is integrated with the living and dining rooms, I also spend a lot of time here every day, whether it's cooking for the family or relaxing preparing my favorite drinks. For the theme itself, I chose a modern minimalist theme with a combination of taupe, wood and brushed gold. So it is very important for me to have a neatly arranged kitchen so that it is pleasing to the eye and also comfortable to use. I myself have a preference for table tops that are as clean as possible and don't have a lot of detailing, so they don't look full. Therefore, I try as much as possible to arrange all the kitchen details in the cabinet, electronic items such as the rice cooker and air fryer under the island, and I place all the decorative elements on a special shelf. I also placed the trash can hidden in one of the cabinets or what is called "pull-out trash bin" so that it doesn't disturb the view and also doesn't smell. Inline japandi kitchen Hi online neighbors, don't ever get bored looking at my in-line kitchen. because it's in line so it's more or less like this. My in-line kitchen is attached to the wall at the back of the house. Why ? because I want to maximize the middle side of the house to be used as a dining room. and for lighting in my kitchen, this is very sufficient, in the morning and afternoon I don't need to provide lighting from lamps, because sunlight will come in from the skylight that I made above the laundry room and this is enough to brighten up my kitchen area. For air circulation, because my house is attached to the right, front and back of the neighbor, so I made a metal door near the skylight so that air can come in and out from there. Beautify by installing a low budget backsplash, namely vinyl stickers that are termite-proof, heat and water resistant, and easy to clean.
