Because I have an elementary school son & I happen to like the concept of less is more, so it suits this house to be decorated with only the necessary knick-knacks & the materials are mostly not breakable, the colors are also dark so it is indeed kids friendly. With not many items like this, there is not much time for cleaning (wiping) & not too worried about being bumped when the child plays in the house (sometimes a ball, sometimes running around)

This time we will share pocket-friendly materials that add to the aesthetics of Casa de Likan!
You can see in all the photo slides of Casa de Likan, there are wooden materials in almost all the ceilings in our house, fun fact .. the wood comes from several trees that we cut down on the Casa de Likan land before it was built! Although it is not free because it still has to be cut neatly and finished well, the cost is very pocket-friendly, and when installed of course it can fit into the Mediterranean theme!
Then there are several interior items made of water hyacinth (which are clearly very cheap) that can fit into the theme and match the wooden installation around the room.
