After a long time, I finally bought an accent chair for this living room ❤️
Initially I thought a 3 seater sofa with a backrest that could be sat on was enough, but because I like inviting friends to hang out at home it turns out there is still space in the living room for chairs. I made this chair custom by craftsmen in Jepara.
Even though there are lots of different motifs in this living room, I think choosing neutral colors creates a coherent theme. The animal print motif repeats the accent on the sofa cushions, while the monochrome color matches the motif on the carpet without creating an overly busy effect from the collision of these two motifs.
