Dining Room 🍽️
We set the open space dining room together with the mini kitchen in a warmer setting, dominated by dark brown wood. We filled it with a glossy coated tamarind wood table with a few holes to make it look natural. Actually, we ordered a length of 60cm so that the room would be more spacious, but after it was finished, it turned out that there was an excess of 10cm, but it didn't matter as long as it was easy to move to the kitchen, toilet and to the back garden.
We deliberately customized the stainless rattan wooden chair that we bought at the marketplace with Oscar foam and camel color (brown-orange) so that it looks fresher and not monotonous. This dining table is not only comfortable for eating but is also often used for sitting and working with a laptop/ipad because you can directly enjoy the green garden.
Don't forget, there is a coffee spot on the iron wood console table which we customized to suit your storage needs for placing basket boxes and rice containers. So that things can be arranged more neatly. On top of that we added more colorful decorations such as glass cups, vases, posters and acrylic shelves but still in keeping with the colors of the midcentury modern style. Hopefully you don't get bored of visiting, online neighbors 😉🙏

Slowly but surely, our dream kitchen is starting to come true!

The changes may be gradual, but every update such as wall paint color, furniture in the same tone, to stainless steel rails so that kitchen items are neater, makes this kitchen more in accordance with what we imagined😍

I did this room makeover myself without a handyman, so it was very economical! I only spent a budget of around 400 thousand with aesthetic but super affordable details ✨
It doesn't have to be expensive for aesthetics, the important thing is that we can arrange it well in its place ✅ so it looks neat and cozy

A house with limited land area must be very compact using functional items. Like the room divider between the kitchen and living room, I use it as a table (dining area). The house paint used is also white so that the room looks spacious and bright.

Wood material is no debate on the ninja way to make a room feel comfortable and cozy in my opinion. Because my house is white, adding wood accents on the floor and table makes the room feel warmer. It doesn't have to be real wood either, for example in this living room there is a combination of SPC that resembles wood, a table with a wood-style HPL, and a real teak table. The combination of various types of colors and timber motifs makes the room feel more comfortable and warm✨

✨ Dining Room ✨
The room that I dreamed of when I was little because I wanted to eat with my family when I had a family.
In the past, there was a dining room in my mother's house, but we rarely ate together there, we often ate individually in front of the TV.
So when I built this house, I was determined to have a beautiful dining room so that it would be comfortable to eat with my family, then God granted it ☺️
The decorations were deliberately not too many so that it would not seem cramped because the size of the dining room was not too large, but they were deliberately decorated with live and artificial ornamental plants so that it felt fresher and more beautiful 🌸
Dominated by neutral colors so that it is cleaner and timeless.

Design inspiration for work from home area. (2-3 people)
This area utilizes the empty space in the middle of the hallway between rooms. In the future, it can be used for a study area and children's computer. Simple, functional, not too much decoration. Add an aquarium and a few green plants to add a fresh atmosphere when tired of working.
The cable organizer is deliberately placed in the middle so that the cables don't get messy. Some favorite miniature figures as encouragement.
A small shelf on one side for a printer, paper stock, and other work equipment so that the table is free.
For morning/afternoon with natural light from the window. Night with a new lighting atmosphere, there is only one table lamp, hopefully after this we can add more 😬🤞🏻

The journey to our dream home began when we decided to start a family. Because this is our first home built with years of work, we thought carefully about the layout and concept so that it was still within budget.

Looking back at the beginning when we first started arranging the furniture in the kitchen & dining room, it felt really empty. But the most special thing for us from the beginning was the kitchen island and this wooden table, because it really matched the image of our dream kitchen.
