We call this tiny area a breakfast nook, because it fits its position in the corner. We adopted many ideas for this room from films and Pinterest. So that all corners can function well.

We really wanted to have a kitchen island in this kitchen. But because of the limited budget for the renovation, we finally decided to use this teak dining set.
So far we have no regrets, because it is very functional. In addition to eating, we often use it to just chat, cook or even work here 😁

Apart from being durable for the long term, it turns out that vintage furniture models are on the rise again, you know?
Honestly, I regretted having a cupboard from childhood but it had been painted white, even though now the cupboard is trendy again and the price is quite expensive 😭
Because I like natural & ethnic elements, here is the furniture that I chose to fill Kimkim's house.
First, the TV table.
I chose a natural wood color with a semi-glossy finish. The model is vintage with rattan woven accents & circular corners. Really like it!
Second, 1 set of 2 seater dining tables. The table is very simple. As for the chairs, I chose cafe style ones. So it's like hanging out at a cafe all the time hihi.

The dining area at Kimkim's house is very minimalist. Because I only live with my husband, I chose a small table with 2 chairs made of teak wood.
I chose teak wood to match the tropical theme of the house.
I used a tablecloth made of batik cloth. To decorate the table, I gave it live lilies. In addition to being a decoration, these lilies smell really good.. so they can also be used as room fresheners. I deliberately chose plates with various motifs because I just like them, haha..
Because we don't have children yet, our dining table hasn't been designed to be child-friendly 😊
