Teak wood that has been furnished glossy, synthetic leather foam & 25cm short legs. with these materials, it is very easy to clean and safe in terms of height. 🪵 Teak wood TV shelf & short round coffee table. The shelf is installed at a low height so that it is not easy to trip over the feet. For the coffee table, we also chose a round shape. ☕️ Stainless steel coffee table. Because the stainless steel edge is curved & not easily hit by feet. 🖼️ Ceramic tiles material on the stair walls. Looks like brick but remains safe from the weather because it is not damp & easy to clean. . Dining Room. 🍽️ Dining table & Bench with blunt edging. This is the master bedroom in #rumahlimut. Size: 5x5 meters. The white duco paint vertical shiplap accent on this wall uses multiplex material and has been installed since the renovation in 2017. Our bedroom floor uses wooden parquet with a dark brown tone to contrast with the all-white wall color. This room can be accessed from 3 areas, namely: family room, 𝙬𝒂𝙡𝒌-𝒊𝙣 𝙘𝒍𝙤𝒔𝙚𝒕 and hallway 𝙨𝒌𝙮𝒍𝙞𝒈𝙝𝒕. For access to the skylight hallway area, we installed a sliding UPVC door and window equipped with 80% blackout curtains for privacy & reducing incoming light if it is too bright. In order for the bedroom to be maximally comfortable, we pay close attention to the following things: 1. 𝐏𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫/𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐬 * Choose the right type based on comfort preferences and needs. We always try the mattresses we are going to buy. * We also add a mattress protector so that the mattress does not get dirty or damaged quickly. We can wash this bed protector regularly. 2. 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 & 𝙋𝒊𝙡𝒍𝙤𝒘 𝑷𝙧𝒐𝙩𝒆𝙘𝒕𝙤𝒓 * We equip pillows with pillow protectors to keep them safe from direct contact with various allergy triggers. * Bolster pillows in #rumahlimut are a must, because I am especially used to sleeping in a position hugging a bolster 😄. * 𝙏𝒉𝙧𝒐𝙬 𝙋𝒊𝙡𝒍𝙤𝒘 as decoration to make it beautiful to look at. 3. 🔆 Budget Hotel Room 🔆 Because I really like doing activities in my room, I designed this room as comfortable as possible. Well, I really aspire to have an aesthetic hotel-style room, but unfortunately my budget is limited 🤣 So…. I racked my brain to still beautify this hotel-style room but with a low budget, here's how: 1. Dusty pink wall paint which is more expensive, I only applied it on one side of the wall. 2. I used a wall panel for my headboard which only costs 29 thousand per meter, and for the high part I used Dutch teak wood battens which are definitely cheap and cheerful. 3. The LED strip lights above the headboard only cost 5 thousand per meter, but really make the room feel like a hotel. 4. I looked for the most affordable bed cover set, for the size 180x200cm I found a price of 500 thousand with the color and striped motif commonly used in hotels, the blanket is also very thick. 5. I still use the old mattress and divan, it is almost 10 years old, the same age as my marriage. Our Master Bedroom is designed simply and functionally. Dominated by wooden elements in all the furniture that we custom ordered from Jepara. For the walls, paint it plain white to make it look spacious. The floor uses SPC to make it more durable. This color tone was chosen to create a warm and comfortable mood. 🌸 Cute Room, Yay or Nay? 🌸 At the age of 34 years old, I was hesitant to make a cute room, pink, peach, flowers, basically something really girly, but I really want to, but I'm afraid it's tacky 🤣 This is what I apply to make a cute room but not tacky according to my version: 1. Paint girly colors only on one side of the wall, the rest white, so it's not too much and becomes tacky and the room feels more spacious with the white paint. 2. Choose girly paint that tends to be a bit soft, not garish, like soft pink, yellow, purple or peach or even dusty pink, dusty peach or dusty purple, it's more graceful than the garish ones. Pastel colors are the key. In this room I used dusty pink paint. 3.
