Styling Kitchen & Dinning
I designed this kitchen & dining with a slightly dark natural wood nuance on the color of the kitchen set & dining table material. However, to avoid monotony, I mixed it with several materials with more vibrant and bright colors on stainless steel chairs with orange synthetic leather sofas, then glossy green mosaic tiles on the back splash and several decorations on the dining table. Like the artificial flower decoration that I customized with the types & colors that I like, then the choice of green placemats that match the kitchen blacksplash, and the red-black fruit bowls make it feel more comfortable to sit here for a long time even though the weather is cloudy, but I'm still happy while watching the rain that falls directly into the back garden.

White Dining Room at d_houseds
Hello Ohouse neighbors...
The dining room in our house is dominated by white and wood. We decorated the walls of the dining room with accent wall molding extending upwards to make the room look tall and used white paint to make the room look clean. Then we installed some gold wall decorations to sweeten the walls. We placed the dining table near the wall to leave space between the dining room and kitchen set so that there is space that can be used freely for cooking. Above the dining table there is a hanging lamp with matching colors, namely white and wood. Sometimes we also move the dining table to the middle of the kitchen to change the atmosphere. From the dining table we can eat while looking at the view of the Vertical Jungle and the fish pond in the back garden. So that the atmosphere when eating is more comfortable and enjoyable.

I used to be hesitant to make a kitchen and dining room without partitions. Afraid of making a mess, afraid of the smell of food spreading, afraid of being uncomfortable. But after doing it, it actually became my favorite part of the house.

Yes.. Japandi is one of my favorite home styles. However, currently we have only realized it a little and also slowly, including in this kitchen area.
We made the kitchen set first after we finished the house contract. We chose brown-white and also a grayish backsplash with a terrazzo motif.
We also added a teak dining table that we customized at one of the Jepara furniture. We deliberately only added 2 chairs, because our child is still small. If our child wants to eat at this dining table, we will only add a high chair

The kitchen & dining room @zenhouse.id have different vibes at night and during the day. So yesterday Saturday Bekasi was very cloudy, so when we took the photo, it turned out the light was different😍
Oh yeah, our kitchen always gets natural lighting guys. Every morning the sunlight enters through the arched window in the family room. Then on the right side of the kitchen there is also an arched window that we always open to add ventilation & lighting.
The kitchen space is indeed compact so we try to optimize the empty space in the kitchen set to be a preparation area when cooking. Well because of that we also thought, we have to find a table top material that is easy to clean and not easily oily. As a result, our choice fell on Quadra "Bassaltina Panna" which is a really good material. Easy to clean, and once exposed to oil it doesn't become shiny and difficult to clean. The bonus, this color also matches the color tone of our house.
Then when discussing with our architect, we were asked, do you prefer a kitchen island or a dining table? So after a discussion together, we finally chose a dining table instead of a kitchen island so we could sit at the dining table and chat after a long day🥰🥰🥰
Actually, a kitchen island can also be used as a place to eat, but we thought the height and size of the chairs would be different from a regular dining table. I'm afraid it will affect comfort if we want to sit for a long time 😂
