We use this room as a relaxing area to lie down while watching or reading.

Mezzanine floor in my house.
We use this mezzanine floor every day as the husband's work space (using a formal work chair and work table) and the wife's work space (using a cross-legged work table and bean bags).
But actually we often use the mezzanine floor for anything, it can be used as a relaxing room, or an additional room if there are lots of guests staying and there's a shortage of rooms 😄

Our house was built on 49m2 of land.
Due to land limitations, we decided to use the services of an architect so that it could be designed according to our needs, of course with a modern, functional and aesthetic design.

Even though the land is limited, this house has 2 toilets. This is the toilet on the 1st floor.
The shape is linear with dimensions of only 2.8 x 1.6 m.
The minimalist concept with 2 areas, namely the dry area and the wet area, makes this toilet look spacious and remains clean.

🌸 Tips and tricks for making small land feel spacious 🌸
Here are some things that I apply in my house which has a land area of only about 75 square meters to make it feel more spacious:
1. Mezzanine.
The mezzanine model makes it feel more spacious because our point of view is not only to the front, but also stretches upwards.
2. Dominant white paint.
In my opinion, colored paint, especially dark colors, makes a room narrower than when we choose white as the dominant paint in the house, it feels cleaner and more spacious.
