In this post I want to show you the area under my stairs which turns out to have two functions. The one facing the bedroom becomes a closed cabinet and the one facing the family room becomes an open shelf for storing children's toys and home decorations. From several options for using the area under the stairs, I finally chose to use it as storage. Since there is no warehouse at home, this area is used as a mini warehouse. For the cabinet with doors, I have also prepared a socket because the intention is to park the vacuum cleaner. Custom furniture is my choice because it can adapt to the situation of the house. Mini Storage ✨ The storage at the front of the house can be said to be mini storage because its size is only 70cm x 1.8m. This storage has 2 doors, outside and inside. The outer door uses shera plank wood motif with a hollow frame. The inner door can be accessed from the living room area using a black aluminum swing door. Shoes cabinet & mini storage. This area is used to store shoes and also some other items. For the shoe cabinet, we made it slightly longer and equipped with air vents on the door. We also maximized the area under the stairs next to the shoe cabinet for storing gallon stock and also made cabinet drawers for small items.
