𝑴𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 One of the many 𝙛𝒂𝙫𝒐𝙧𝒊𝙩𝒆 𝒎𝙤𝒎𝙚𝒏𝙩𝒔 in #rumahlimut that I want to share this time is working in the dining table area. When the task of preparing provisions for the husband, wife and children is complete. Usually I immediately 𝒘𝙤𝒓𝙠𝒐𝙪𝒕 for 1 hour, then open my laptop and 𝒔𝙤𝒓𝙩𝒊𝙣𝒈 𝒐𝙪𝒕 some work such as replying to emails, 𝙪𝒑𝙙𝒂𝙩𝒊𝙣𝒈 𝒅𝙤𝒎𝙚𝒔𝙩𝒊𝙘 𝙛𝒊𝙣𝒂𝙣𝒄𝙚 and make a 𝒊𝙣𝒗𝙤𝒊𝙘𝒆 that I have to send. I prefer working at the dining table with the sliding door wide open so I can see the sky directly and feel like working in the open air even though this is actually a 𝙞𝒏𝙙𝒐𝙤𝒓 area. This 𝙨𝒌𝙮𝒍𝙞𝒈𝙝𝒕 roofed corridor area is only 1 meter wide, but it turns out that its impact is quite significant for the 𝙖𝒎𝙗𝒊𝙚𝒏𝙘𝒆 in this area, including: * As a source of natural light, thus reducing electricity usage. * 𝑴𝙤𝒐𝙙 𝙀𝒏𝙝𝒂𝙣𝒄𝙚𝒎𝙚𝒏𝙩: I feel that the exposure to sunlight that comes in increases my 𝙢𝒐𝙤𝒅, creates a more 𝙞𝒏𝙫𝒊𝙩𝒊𝙣𝒈 atmosphere and lifts my spirits. Even when it rains, the sound & raindrops create a romantic experience & view. I can sit and work for hours at this dining table, accompanied by warm tea or coffee & snacks. - Stories from the Kitchen - Before the renovation, the kitchen was my and my partner's favorite place. I was always excited to create culinary masterpieces in this room. Unfortunately, from here we also found out that this house had termites, just like the kitchen set that was the first to run out until the termites made their nests in the cabinets. During the renovation, we redesigned the kitchen and decided on PVC board as the material for the kitchen set because of the trauma of termites, and this material was still within our budget.
