Our 1890s shingle Victorian is in the midst of her glow-up! We’ve remodeled and designed homes before, but this one is our biggest project yet. Every single room needs an overhaul – at the very least, paint, but most need much more than that. So far we have completed three rooms - the living room, the laundry room, and an extra bedroom. We are currently in the middle of our kitchen remodel, so that will make four! One thing is for certain – we are not turning this detailed beauty into a cookie-cutter new build. I love shopping Amazon for the final pieces I need as I pull a room together. I turned our 3rd room into a moody and layered space inspired by Taylor Swift’s Midnights album. There’s a lot of Easter eggs in there – see if you can find them! I chose simple, neutral curtains with a little texture for interest. I found the wooden beaded tiebacks for a natural element. The macramé moons have been a big hit for astrology girlies. The fuzzy chair gives a nod to the 70s vibe of the Anti-Hero music video.
