To realize this 2.5 meter x 1.8 meter area which used to be just a small bedroom (used to be a warehouse) and renovated into a comfortable Home Prayer Room is my dream.
In this Prayer Room I feel like I have me time spiritually and physically. Quiet, solemn in worship, relaxed in reading and calm for contemplation. And this is where I am not too disturbed by the little ones and routine activities at home because I am really looking for time free from all the hustle and bustle. Can feel relaxed and calm.

This is one way we utilize limited space in the house, namely by making a hanging cabinet in this mini prayer room. Of course without disturbing worship activities.
This cabinet is custom made so that its size is according to its intended use. Incidentally, this hanging cabinet is where we store suitcases and similar bags. There are also several small boxes that we tucked into the empty space, between the bookcase and the hanging cabinet, as containers for small items so that they are easy to find.

One land can be two functional areas, coincidentally in the backyard of our house there is leftover land from the developer that besides making a kitchen and dining area, we also make a prayer room and laundry room in 1 land, we make a long partition with additional roster to beautify this partition wall.

Make the Home Prayer Room more comfortable to worship.
Carrying a modern minimalist concept, the renovation of the prayer room which was previously a small bedroom was changed to be open and the floor was increased by about 20cm.
To make it unique, on the front left side of the prayer room wall there is a roster, deliberately installed upside down the back of the roster motif, actually this is the remaining roster from the house fence so rather than wasting it, I just installed it here.
The prayer room floor uses gray granite marble, half of the prayer room wall is installed with precut mosaic checkered ceramics with dark green grout, the typical color of the prayer room is all green. Half of the wall and above is just a regular wall with neutral white paint. The ceiling uses striped PVC.
The use of modern style furniture, poster frames of the words Allah & Muhammad are arranged on acrylic shelves, folding shelves to arrange the Qur'an and books, closed round bedside tables to store prayer clothes neatly, the addition of ceiling hanging lamps, standing lamps, table lamps, mini carpets for prayer mats and fans for cooler air circulation in the prayer room.

One of the favorite spots in this house is the prayer room, with a compact size of 1.5x2 meters. It's not big but it's enough, there's enough for 2 prayer mats, so my husband and I can pray together in this mini prayer room.
In our opinion, it is important to have a place of worship at home because apart from bringing blessings, a place of worship is also important to help Muslim guests who come home and be able to pray in this mini prayer room.
This prayer room has wood & white colors. Worship is also more comfortable because we really like wood & white.

Progress of the makeover of the prayer room in my house. The size of the room is 3x3 m. I use a mihrab made of plywood. For the combination, I use wood panel and uv marble panel. Because there was a mistake in choosing the flooring, so for the ceramics I replaced it with SPC flooring. It is neater when installing SPC, for the floor plinth it is covered with skirting. Don't forget to add LED stripe lights to the mihrab to make it dramatic. What do you think about my prayer room?
