Because I didn't want to be complicated, I made the mihrab permanent from granite tiles. Plus decorations in the shape of the Kaaba and a small cupboard for storing prayer tools, this prayer room has minimal maintenance. Carpets are installed occasionally. There is also a shelf for placing religious books and a few displays. My favorite room 🤍 What makes us really like this room is because this is where we worship and express our complaints every day. Almost every day we always use this room if we don't have plans to leave the house. There aren't many things that we use as decoration items, there are only cupboards for prayer equipment, flower vases and bookshelves, wall displays with pictures of the Kaaba and sayings of Allah & Muhammad, and of course prayer mats. We chose these objects because they are simple but still aesthetically pleasing. The mini prayer room is only 2x2m! Yes, this is the prayer room, aka the mini prayer room at Rumah Semak. Even though the building area is limited, they still want a special space for prayer. For personal use, also for close guests who come to our house. Unlike prayer rooms in general, we decorated this room minimalistly and only decorated according to needs. Such as a partition made of multiplex material layered with HPL with white triangular decoration with warm white strip lights as a marker for the direction of the Qibla. The colors we chose were also white and gray monochrome, from the carpet selection to the macrame decor and curtains. Above the washing machine, we added a multi-purpose shelf and a stacked trolley on the side to store soap equipment. The roster in this laundry room is a barrier covering the water pump and the warehouse inside (broom holder, etc.).
