The main room is 3x4 in size but still cozy, with a Japandi Style theme, for the walls I use wall panels and vinyl flooring with white wall colors to make it look spacious with a gypsum ceiling plus a rattan hanging lamp
Although this room is small, it is comfortable for me to rest, the size of the mattress I use is 180x200 with a bed frame from Dekora which has 2 drawers so it can save space on the bed frame as well as a storage cabinet

🔆 Budget Hotel Room 🔆
Because I really like doing activities in my room, I designed this room as comfortable as possible.
Well, I really aspire to have an aesthetic hotel-style room, but unfortunately my budget is limited 🤣
So…. I racked my brain to still beautify this hotel-style room but with a low budget, here's how:
1. Dusty pink wall paint which is more expensive, I only applied it on one side of the wall.
2. I used a wall panel for my headboard which only costs 29 thousand per meter, and for the high part I used Dutch teak wood battens which are definitely cheap and cheerful.
3. The LED strip lights above the headboard only cost 5 thousand per meter, but really make the room feel like a hotel.
4. I looked for the most affordable bed cover set, for the size 180x200cm I found a price of 500 thousand with the color and striped motif commonly used in hotels, the blanket is also very thick.
5. I still use the old mattress and divan, it is almost 10 years old, the same age as my marriage.
Yes, it's not bad, my dream of having a beautiful but pocket-friendly room can actually come true ✨

It turns out that an elegant room appearance doesn't have to cost a lot of money, for example, a plain wall appearance can be added with wall panels like in my room, don't forget to choose paint with neutral colors and also add a little decoration such as wall decor and table lamps.

The master bedroom area in this Casadeharsa house is only 2.7m long x 3m wide, quite small indeed. However, we designed this room to remain comfortable and its tone matches the concept of other rooms in this house (farmhouse with a touch of Japandi). That's why we gave a wall panel on the wall which is also used for the bathroom camouflage door application. In addition, we also use vinyl for the floor and a touch of gold from the hanging lamps and room accessories so that it gives a simple, but warm and elegant impression. .

This is my 3.5x4.5 m bedroom, making it a super comfortable resting place
1️⃣ Choose neutral colors:
I use a dominant beige and soft brown color in this room. Neutral colors create a calmer and more cozy atmosphere, perfect for resting after a day of activities.
2️⃣ Simple but aesthetic decoration:
This floral mirror-themed wall decor is a statement on the wall, not too crowded but still makes the room look lively even though the size is not too big.
3️⃣ Choose comfortable bedding:
A soft mattress, decorative pillows, and throw blanket make the sleeping experience even more optimal. I chose soft and cool materials so that I could rest more soundly.
4️⃣ The right lighting:
A warm bedside lamp makes the night atmosphere more relaxing, perfect for reading a book before going to bed.

This is a 3x5 bedroom, where I rest and recharge my energy every day. One of our tips for creating a calmer and more comfortable atmosphere for resting, we use dark wood colored SPC flooring, and 3000K lights as the main lights. So the eyes are not too tired. Bed sheets also play an important role, we choose to use sheets that are soft on the skin, so that sleep is more restful. 😴

How I make a comfortable bedroom for resting

🌸 Kids Room Decoration 🌸
For the kids' room, I deliberately didn't put too many things, so that they have more freedom to play.
The floor in this room uses matt granite so that it is not slippery.
The decoration is also simple with materials that are not easily broken such as plastic and wood, because my children are still small. Sometimes using carpet, sometimes not, just changing blankets or sheets, so as not to get bored.
On the walls, wall stickers with a planet theme are deliberately attached because my children are currently enjoying learning about astronomy.

Although we don't have small children yet, we chose curved corners for the furniture design selection, especially on the upper floor (private area). In addition to being safe for children in the future, it is also safe for us in the present. The curved corner furniture in our house includes: bedside tables, wardrobes, TV cabinets, dressing tables, and bed frames.
2. Socket covers
In addition to protecting children from the dangers of electric shock, socket covers also function to protect sockets from dust, water, and other foreign objects.

Master bedroom 4x4m — not spacious, but enough to lie down while daydreaming about a staycation
I arranged this room with the principle: simple but warm.
➤ A bed without a bed frame to give a spacious impression (an alibi, actually I'm still waiting for the budget to buy a bed 😆)
➤ Rattan hanging lamp to get a tropical atmosphere
➤ Large arched windows to let in as much natural light as possible
➤ And the window seat corner? My favorite spot for a relaxing tea or coffee break
Everything was deliberately made so that when you open your eyes it feels like you're waking up in an Ubud villa, not in your own home
The key to comfort?
💡 Natural light + earthy colors + spacious space without too many details = anti-stuffy, pro-healing combo.

To realize this 2.5 meter x 1.8 meter area which used to be just a small bedroom (used to be a warehouse) and renovated into a comfortable Home Prayer Room is my dream.

Custom bedside table design from terrazzo so it feels like sleeping in a cafe ☕️
To be honest, I'm a lover of terrazzo materials, especially pastel & pink colors✨ But it's a shame that there aren't many variations in the processing of this material in Indonesia. I tried looking for a bedside table model with this model but it was very difficult and almost didn't exist. Finally, I decided to design my own custom bedside table by looking for various vendors that suited my taste & budget.
For the terrazzo table top, I custom made it from IG: @onyxhomeliving_terrazzo who has experience exporting terrazzo. Apart from that, there are lots of cute variations of terrazzo. To make it look more natural, the body of the nightstand/bedside table uses wood that I customized from @asheshomeid because the price is very affordable and the design results met my expectations.
Meanwhile, to give a "luxury" impression, I added gold accents to the nightstand, such as on the drawer pulls and furniture legs that I bought separately on Shopee.
For the nightstand design itself, I deliberately made a terrazzo table top that was not permanently attached to the bedside table. So the table top can be multifunctional as a product photo base too. For the drawer accent, I made a line ornament to harmonize with the existing furniture & room interior concept.
I also made the middle of the drawer body open. There are 2 advantages; namely to be more economical because you don't use a lot of wood, and so that the nightstand remains okay when placed in the middle of the room.
