- My Kitchen, My Rules - The kitchen is usually the area of power for mothers...is that right? 😁 So... if the kitchen is comfortable, it will definitely make us mothers excited to cook, right... This is a little story about the kitchen in #rumah.inoy, renovated during the pandemic, we chose a brown tone, the aim is to match our furniture on the ground floor which uses a lot of wood elements. Because this kitchen is the main kitchen, we hope the material is strong and durable, but also with a budget that is economical. Finally, we chose to use the casting method for the countertop, then coated with 60x60cm granite with a wood motif. While the backsplash was chosen with a mosaic pattern to make it look more classic and warm. The cabinets consist of two types. The upper cabinet is our old kitchen cabinet, which is still in very good condition, using a wood grain motif hpl finish. While the lower cabinet which is more brown in color is a new custom cabinet with a duco finish. We chose a stainless steel sink and faucet for easy maintenance. for the floor, we chose 60x60cm granite with a light color to create a bright and clean atmosphere. -wash your worries away- This bathroom was made during the pandemic when we couldn't stay anywhere else. Finally, when my husband asked where to make it? My mother just answered like a hotel 😂. Sure enough, my husband copied hotel ceramics... even though it's not like in a real hotel 🤣 The small bathroom is about 2m x 3m long, enough for cleaning and occasionally soaking your body and tired feet. Because the color of the ceramic used is not bright, we chose white for the bathtub, toilet, and sink to make it look brighter. The faucet and shower are not too varied, we just use stainless steel ones so they are easy to maintain. Finding peace and serenity above it all. ✨ Our initial goal in creating a rooftop was for gardening considering that we didn't have enough extra land. The next development in the rooftop area was that we finally designated a part as a dry garden and another part we made into a fruit gardening area. It's great to be able to harvest small amounts from our own garden. Moreover, the fruit plants that we plant in pots are very easy to harvest, just pick them. - My Facade - hi neighbors... finally Ibok dares to post our house facade in its entirety and real 🤭 with the hope of sharing information and helping other neighbors who are looking for facade ideas 🤗 This facade was designed by my husband himself. At that time, Ibok's request was only for a minimalist facade like today's houses, boxy, so that it is easy and cheap to maintain 😁 The materials we use include: 1. aluminum frames for windows with the aim of easy maintenance and durability 2. alderon upvc roof as a garage canopy and on the mezzanine roof leading to the rooftop 3. natural stone coated in solid black 4. woodplank to beautify the fence 5. roster as an exterior accent as well as a fence on the balcony because Ibok and my husband wanted to have a gardening area, but what can we do with limited land, we finally decided to make a rooftop.
