The concept of the dining room in our house is simple and minimalist.
The advantage of this dining table is that it is small and doesn't take up space, the disadvantage is that it is a bit tiring if you sit for a long time.
Because the dining room at home is attached to the TV room, it's cool that we can eat while watching TV😊
As for decoration, not too much... there are only obstacles for knick-knacks such as wall posters and vases.
The remaining furniture items include cupboards and shelves next to the dining table where coasters/snacks/snacks can be stored.

Comparison of the house 7 years ago and now. The paint color has not changed, it is still white and has not been repainted. The decoration of the house 7 years ago was indeed simple because there was not much furniture from the old house because the house was smaller.

Let's get to know the plants that I use in my house.
There aren't too many types, mostly we use Calathea luthea. It grows quickly, the important thing is that it gets sun and enough water.
Here are a few tips... if you plant this plant without a pot, be prepared for it to grow tall... if you don't want it to get too tall, it's best to give it a pot or use a concrete pot. This soil in my back garden was damaged because during the rainy season yesterday the water fell on the calathea leaves and poured heavily.

One of the newly re-decorated corners of the @kns.living house. Replacing the cloth curtains with wooden blinds, putting in a drawer for storing necessities and items in the house to make it tidier, and putting in the plant I chose, Calathea orbifiola, to sweeten the room. I redecorated this part with a budget of around 3 million rupiah for wooden blind accessories & standing planters.

🏡 Casazenna house transformation
✨ Definition of a dream house, the first time I saw this cluster I immediately fell in love with the facade of the house.
🛋️ The area I like the most in this house is the open space area, where the living room, dining room, & kitchen are combined so it feels spacious.
✨ Every corner is mostly accented with wood according to the theme of the Japandi house.
🪨 Looks like a house that was originally plain & empty, especially the middle area. It changed completely after the furniture was added. Homey & cozy.

Open Plan House 🏠
valge house implements an Open Plan House or Open space House
There is no partition between the living room, dining room and kitchen.🛋️
These three rooms have a Letter L layout, so that the kitchen area is not visible 100% from the living room
We chose this concept because we wanted a spacious and spacious space with good air and light circulation.
Each room is surrounded by gardens.🌱
In implementing this concept, we use main furniture with matching colors, namely wood and ivory white🪟
For the sofa, because we had it before the house was built, we styled it in a different color so it wasn't monotonous...
Because the dominant white wall paint for the TV background, we chose a different color.
This room is a place for family gatherings 💕

Over the years, not much of the furniture in the living room has changed, only the details of the decoration have changed. Finally decided to install a shelving system on the widest wall in this room. Open-shelves which will later be used to display decorations and favorite items. Just installed the base rail because I haven't had time to go to Ikea yet to buy a shelf. Hopefully it can be completed as soon as possible.

A dry garden that has been transformed into a multi-purpose place... always bathed in light because we only use sliding doors with glass. So it's good for us to save electricity. And air can easily get in and out because there are lots of openings in the house. Even if it's really hot, it feels strong hahaha

Open Plan House🏠
Our house uses an Open Plan or Open Space house theme where Living Dinning and Kitchen are in one area✔️
The reason we use this concept is so that the house looks spacious and the lighting can be maximized, apart from that, so that the activity areas can be integrated🪻. Private spaces such as bedrooms are at the back of the house.🧸
Because in one area if there are too many colors it will give an untidy impression, so we only use a few colors such as natural brown, white, gray and green from living plants🛋️

Because my living room is quite spacious, the sofa is placed right in the middle of the room to make it look more "full". On the widest wall, I use a shelving system so that the position of the shelves can be adjusted according to needs or changed when bored. I also use a lot of mood lighting, so that the lighting at night is more comfortable and doesn't feel like being in a meeting hall. 😁

One of our best decisions 8 years ago was buying this house. There was no intention at all to buy property that year because we already had a house in the Sentul area. Out of nowhere, my father-in-law suddenly gave me information that there was a house for sale that was suitable for airbnb because it had quite a lot of bedrooms. Long story short, we bought this house but it was canceled for airbnb and instead we live in it until now. That's why we only renovated it as needed because the initial plan was to rent it out.
Maybe now is the time to make installments
renovate the house according to the latest wishlist 😅
