We live in a housing complex that carries a modern tropical theme, there are no changes in the form of the facade, it is still the same as the original house.
Only a little addition of a fence made of roaster material on the left side because it was a side yard that was previously not fenced at all.
And we replaced the terrace floor with cast terrazzo, as a replacement for the ceramics provided by the developer because we like the terrazzo motif and want a part of this house that uses terrazzo.
To strengthen the vibes of our tropical house, we plant a lot of plants.

The fence is made with the same color as the body of the building, namely the play of washed cement walls combined with exposed roster, white paint, and black gates made of hollow iron and expanded metal.
In the middle there are 2 circles that are unique elements in our fence design. Inspired by the repetition of geometric shapes that we apply to the design.
The upper circle is for the house number made of iron plate, and the lower circle is the bell button for guests.
The gate for cars to enter uses sliding and 1 swing door for people to enter and exit. There are 2 box holes for hands to enter to open and lock the gate.
The total width is divided into two wall areas of 2.5 m and a gate area of 3.5 m because we also prepare space for motorbikes to enter on the side.

Welcome to the back of our house! Yup, our house has two faces, front and back, and this is the back facade with a touch of modern tropical style. We chose a simple and functional design, with a dominance of neutral and gray colors to give a calm and elegant impression. Our large windows here make the atmosphere even more cozy because you can enjoy the view of the fresh green backyard every day.

Our Lil House - Auto Gate
Our house facade fence is one of the interesting things because it uses an autogate system. The use of smart home on the house fence is quite helpful for daily activities because it can be controlled from a remote or google home. And it can also be controlled even from afar! In terms of security, it is also very good because people can't just open our house gate!!

This time we want to share about our house fence. Btw, these photo slides were taken at different times.
The photo on slide 1 was taken around 05.00 — after dawn when the light was not that bright and was still transitioning from dark to light. Slides 2 & 3 were taken yesterday morning at 08.00 where it turned out that the sunlight was reflecting off the garage canopy. Slide 4, a souvenir from Mas WicakMifta's visit & the position of the open gate shows how our gate works🥰
Well, to be honest, our gate didn't originally look like this. It was more like a sheet of iron arranged tightly and at a distance.
Then because from the beginning, my parents felt that this could still be explored, finally Mas Hendro helped us find this suitable alternative design.
Previously, our fence was made of sheets of iron arranged & in terms of timeline, the work process was faster, so we also preferred to have a little added cost with the adjustment of this fence shape. Now, our fence has a process of being cut, sort of braided, then curved. This form of fence does require extra time.
Of course there is a curved accent because @zenhouse.id is geometrically dominated by many curves.
Then the direction of our gate opening is outward because of limited space and this is one way to anticipate so that when opening the car door it doesn't hit the fence hehi🫢😂
So if you already have a desire for a fence like what, MinZen's suggestion is to discuss it directly with the architect. That will help reduce the possibility of additional costs in the middle of the road (for the construction process)😍

Vina Mini House Fence 🏡
Our house fence is made of Hollow iron with a thickness of 1.6mm, with a height of 1.5m and a width of 3 meters. We chose the Straight Vertical fence model which we thought was suitable for our minimalist house.
Our fence only needs to be slid or opened in one direction (straight to the right side) and for the other side (left side) we combine it with a concrete wall combined with a "Z" model Roaster with the aim of beautifying the 'looks' of the house facade and so that air, wind or light can enter from between the roaster holes. In addition to saving budget, the Straight Vertical fence model is also a fairly 'timeless' fence model.

This fence is industrial style in black to match the dominant color of the facade, which is a combination of gray.
We combine a black fence made of expanded and iron plate with a roaster fence that is made with a slanted accent to have a distinctive character.
The choice of black is also to match the color of the canopy.

The landscape in our house has 3 parts, front, right side and back.
Because the house faces East which is hot from morning to noon, we planted the front area with Japanese grass which is resistant to heat and other plants were also chosen that are resistant to heat but still shady with wide leaves in some parts.
The side garden area is only planted with elephant grass to make it more spacious because it is a children's play area, can be used for running, outdoor sports, or picnics.
The back garden area was originally grass but because it was covered by a house building so it didn't get sunlight, the grass growth was not good and because the area was damp the soil became mossy, then we replaced it with gravel.

A fence is not just a barrier, but also an important element that gives a first impression of a house.
Since I live in a cluster that does not allow fences, I didn't make a full fence to the front. So you could say it's a semi-fence, hhi, because I still want to have privacy so that it's not too open to the outside. So it's safer and more comfortable too.
This is a simple fence that I customized to a carpenter using hollow iron, with the addition of expanded ram in the middle to make it look sweeter, the last step is to paint it in matte black to make it more minimalist & bold.

We chose an industrial-themed fence to add a masculine impression to the facade of the house. In addition to the fence, another icon of Rumahbryan itself is the lasercut iron canopy with a dice motif combined with a solartuff roof.

Roster as a Fence.
