The most comfortable room, dream since childhood✨ Having my own room has been my dream since I was little, and it only came true when my older sister got married. This is an empty room that I finally renovated from my own salary. Of course, this room is a sweet spot for me. I put all my preferences, personality and habits into this room design. I turned the garden in front of the house which had been annoying because there were lots of bats and looked scary, so I turned it into an "advantage" of this room. I really like sitting and looking at the trees during golden hours or 12.00-15.00. I think the sunlight penetrating through the leaves & swaying branches is really beautiful🥺✨ Therefore, for this special spot I really selected the existing furniture. Of course, apart from aesthetics, I want furniture that is functional and in harmony with the style of my room. Like the Helsinki work desk from iFURNHOLIC which has lots of compartments so my room is tidier. For the work chair, I chose a simple and modern cutting from IKEA, namely the JARVFJALLET work chair. For additional storage, I DIYed my own wall shelf with gold foil so it had a gold mirroring look, for the base I used Dutch teak boards to make it cheaper. Next level "Ijo Missqueen" becomes elegant in the dining room This green color seems to be the favorite of Indonesian mothers, one of which is my parents. However, you need to be smart in choosing a shade of green that is the same tone as the existing furniture so that this color doesn't look gory and - to put it mildly - green like Miss Queen😢 For this reason, I leveled up the wall paint in this restaurant without losing the identity of my parents' favorite color. I changed the light green color to classic green. Because this color is more suitable to be combined with existing furniture with dark brown shades. Apart from that, the classic green color gives a more elegant impression. So that the room isn't too dark, I combined soya milk color on the side walls. Another tip for leveling up the paint color or vibe of a room is by playing with light. For the dining table area, there is a white hanging lamp for a brighter dining atmosphere.
