✨ Low budget tv backdrop ✨
Hi O!house neighbors 👋
This is the area under the stairs of our house. Initially we wanted to make a cabinet that followed the stairs. But because the budget for the cabinet at that time was very pricey and there were many needs for renovation, suddenly an idea came up to close the space under the stairs using full gypsum to the ceiling accompanied by a camouflage door using WPC as the entrance to the warehouse area.
The installed gypsum was immediately covered with linen wallpaper and gold list stickers to add a high impression to the room 💛
It turned out that after it was finished we really liked the results. The intention was only for a while but it became a favorite room in this house.
With a budget of only 2 million, you can make a TV backdrop and a warehouse under the stairs 😍

Hello everyone, good evening, in this house there are 2 bathrooms located on the 1st and 2nd floors, for the bathroom on the 1st floor it is located under the stairs so the size is not too big. Because it is located close to the living room area, so for the bathroom door I decorated it using a camouflage door using wall panels that blend with the theme in the living room. 😊

HIDDEN DOOR WITH A SECRET ROOM ✨
As you guys know, there are many hidden stuff in Hatta Home because we really like something hidden and hard to guess hehe for example the hidden door that camouflages as a kitchen cabinet.
Does anyone know where the hidden door in Hatta Home leads to? Yes! This hidden door leads to our laundry area, storage room & helper bedroom. The total area inside this hidden door is 16 square meters, but because Hatta Home is a growing house, we have not completely renovated this area.
But now let's talk about the laundry area first! Hatta Home chooses to use a separate washing machine and dryer for efficiency because you can use both at the same time. Then, Hatta Home also uses a portable washing machine to wash doormats, dirty rags and other cleaning wipes so that they don't get mixed with clothes.
We dry clothes using a dryer and don't dry them in the sun, but we still provide a sturdy stainless steel folding clothesline to simply hang towels that are still in use.
Honestly, we can't wait to renovate the laundry area to be neater and more functional with cabinets later✨

‼️ Utilizing & Maximizing the Space Under the Stairs
Because the land in the casadeharsa house is very limited, where the building is only built on 60m2 of land, we also have to utilize the land under the stairs for a warehouse and bathroom with a camouflage door. Although the size of the warehouse and bathroom is mini, we designed both spaces so that the function of both spaces remains optimal.

An empty room to monitor the skylight and hanging lights. This room is open space so it can't use AC, instead, we use a ceiling fan and LED lights in the middle of the room. The accent of this room uses a wood-patterned wall panel which is also a camouflage door to the rooftop.

Our minimalist TV room on the 2nd floor is designed to be as comfortable as possible, not too many knick-knacks

Favorite room in my house ^^
Open the door and enter the living room area with a TV backdrop that doubles as a warehouse under the stairs.
I call this living room my favorite room because this room is the first place to relax after traveling from outside.
With our favorite cream color, it makes this room warmer and more aesthetic. In the Wood Panel section, there is a camouflage door as the entrance to the warehouse area under the stairs.

Small space transformation, minimal budget, but still maximizing aesthetics!
namely using kalsiboard or GRC on the bathroom door that directly faces the dining room. Because the initial look of the PVC bathroom door was dull and we didn't want to buy a new one, so we changed the look with kalsiboard and ice blue paint. In addition, we also made a multifunctional partition between the foyer and the room which also functions as a hidden warehouse with kalsiboard. We did it all ourselves, aka DIY. In addition to being more economical, kalsiboard is lightweight, moisture-resistant, and easy to paint to match the nuances of the house.
Dining table? Originally from an old boarding table that wasn't even a dining table. But with a little touch of creativity—a beautiful tablecloth and the right decoration and position—the table was upgraded to become the center of family dining.
The study table is the same. Recycling an old table, we repainted it to make it look like new. Economical, functional, and certainly has sentimental value.
Tips:
Reuse old furniture—more environmentally friendly and can be more unique!
Use kalsiboard for a quick, aesthetic, and durable partition solution. or as a camouflage door decoration
DIY = economical + personal satisfaction!
