Here's the story of my house, the first thing we determined was the location, so we deliberately looked for a house in the area we wanted and this process took quite a long time. And because the location is an old housing complex, most of them are old houses for sale, and in the end we found an old house that the owner wanted to sell and according to our budget. Because the house was very old and its foundation could not be maintained, we dismantled it and rebuilt it and made it a place to live for me and my husband and my sister-in-law's family. With a design of one building but for two families, the first floor is inhabited by my sister-in-law's family, and the second floor is inhabited by me and my husband. House Facade ✨ This house measures 7 x 10 meters, which we designed in a classic minimalist style using a fence made of wood plank in wood grain color combined with white galvanized iron. On the side we made a fence made of hebel and cement which was shaped like an arch to plant cacti so that there was a green impression, due to the limited land available. The facade design of this house is minimalist and has a Scandinavian gable roof shape, my husband and I designed the facade to match the width of the building. We made the fence of this house tight so that privacy is maintained and remains minimalist with GRC material painted in wood color to make it look natural like wood, We also added a roster so that it is not monotonous and there is a gap for air to enter and exit. Open Space Kitchen & Dining Room, has been in great demand besides giving a spacious, airy and comfortable impression. A room without partitions combining the kitchen and dining room feels warmer and more functional. With a kitchen area of 3 meters x 1 meter and a minimal dining room area, it maximizes the available space. The open space concept in our house is not only in the kitchen and dining room but can be seen from the living room and multipurpose room. The choice of white for house paint, kitchen sets, floor tiles and furniture is the main color choice, but we are starting to look at a combination of bright colors (pop colors) for sofas, hanging lamps, sofa cushions, etc. So that the room is brighter and more cheerful. This time I share the Ceirabox facade with a Scandinavian design. The characteristic of this theme is using a triangular roof. I deliberately made the triangle asymmetrical. The position of the house is on the side of the road so I made a fence that is quite high 2.2m x 6.2m long for privacy and security. ➖ Kitchen Renovation The process towards a new dream kitchen can be realized in 2024. Previously in 2016 (slide 4), when we first moved into the house, the developer's built-in alley kitchen still used shelves that were again made by ourselves, aka DIY. The kitchen items and furnishings were still simple and many were brought from our parents' house. We did change the backsplash and granite to black, previously the developer's built-in orange color. After almost 5 years of living in the house, we added a kitchen set to make it tidier and have lots of storage. We chose black because our previous house style was monochrome. The outer walls of our bathroom are still plain, so that they are not plain anymore we chose 12 wall batten materials at a price of 140 thousand.
