Having a lot of books but limited space is always a fun challenge, and thatโs what makes styling my reading corner even more special.
I installed an adjustable shelf on the wall, so that the floor area can be used for a chair, table, and lamp. This shelf is enough for most of my books, but I also have a HOL table from Ikea next to the reading chairโa multifunctional table with storage space under the lid, to store other books. In addition, I use a mini trolley for additional books.
Even though the space is limited, with the right arrangement and the right choice of furniture, everything remains neat, comfortable, and aesthetic. So even though my reading space is just a corner of my room, it feels cozy and functional. Slide 1-2 we just changed the plants in front of the house, which used to be cacti to beautiful colorful bougainvillea plants ๐ฅน๐ฅน it is said that the hotter the weather, the more flowers there are ๐ฅฐ๐
Slide 3-4 one corner of the house is given a touch of pop-up color with chairs from ikea and also a green ikea table. In this place we usually read books or just lie down.
Slide 5 an old-school night light but always attracts attention, a beautiful green lava lamp with balls that go up and down like lava ๐๐
Slide 6 a super comfortable terracotta pop-up bean bag in the family room. Perfect for watching TV or just lying down.

After a long and busy day, I can finally go home and enjoy a new corner in this living room. The presence of a new sofa makes the atmosphere more cozy and comfortable to relax. Here, I can enjoy simple but valuable 'me time' moments, whether by reading a book, listening to music, or just sitting and contemplating while accompanied by warm lamplight.
This corner is my favorite place to relax after a day's work. It feels like every corner of the house can have its own story, right? Although initially it was just an empty corner, now this sofa and lamp have transformed it into a place that makes the heart feel calm and comfortable.
