Introvert Home Foyer Area 👋🏻 Actually, it's just a simple design, originally the idea was from genkan in Japanese home design, but we didn't want to make different levels in the house for security reasons and ease of mobility. Behind the door there is a car/motorcycle key hanger and an umbrella, bag, and jacket rack. Because the main door opens from the side, we made a partition so that the stairs area is not directly visible. This partition is made functional for display shelves at the top and storage drawers at the bottom. Front Porch at Night. Nighttime atmosphere on the terrace of the house. There are not too many ornaments on this front terrace, to keep it minimalist and of course to make it easy to clean. This terrace area did not experience many changes during the renovation, apart from having to follow the developer's rules, I also only did a little widening in this terrace area. I deliberately chose a shoe rack with a model that has a stand, to make it easier when wearing shoes. Other ornaments are only the electric meter cover box, umbrella storage, and a standing planter. The way we save space is by eliminating the living room and replacing it with an entrance way / foyer! This foyer is quite simple, its function is as a divider between the outside and inside areas of the house, so we make a leveling with different materials. For a place to stop by to take off and put shoes. The materials we use to decorate this area are quite simple, with granite floors and SPC floor leveling so that the space looks different and follows the inspiration of Japanese houses. Initially the area was empty but we decided to make a half-body shoe cabinet, so that the top can be decorated with at least a framed our wedding bouquet. And golden pothos leaves in vases so that there is a green nuance. The cabinet that we made was also made with affordable materials, HPL-coated multiplex with Taco Sheet inside to make it cheaper. We made the entrance door using teakwood outer layer meranti wood. Not using ironwood or others to save budget, the price can be half! The results are not bad in our opinion.
