There's something new in this room, a plant rack from IKEA that's been on my wishlist for months. Because I always run out of this gray one, there are always green ones, I decided to be patient while waiting for restock and discounts. Ha ha ha Until finally last week it was restocked, and indeed it said LAST CHANCE, but I didn't expect it to be executed and I wanted to check again and the item was no longer found, aka discontinued. Very lucky to be able to get this DAKSJUS rack. Even the green ones are no longer found on the web 🙈. Welcome to this mini balcony that is only a line 🤗 With a width of only 60cm, arranging this balcony is quite challenging for us. So in the early days of occupying this house, the balcony became a 'forgotten' area 😅 We wanted to have a relaxing area with a spacious table and chairs, but unfortunately the area is limited so to get around it we chose to use these minimalist chairs and tables. One of our principles, in decorating a house does not always have to be with expensive materials, the most important thing is that its function and aesthetics are fulfilled. Like in our backyard. Instead of using a glass canopy roof which is quite expensive, we chose to use clear solarflat material. We also put a tiered plant rack made of wood that we bought from e-commerce at a low price. For the kitchen set, we chose to use ceramic as a backsplash, HPL material for the cabinet, and terrazzo motif ceramic for the top table. We chose these three materials because they are affordable so they can reduce the budget for making the kitchen set. On the facade of the house, we also used the remaining HPL kitchen set to be used as a cover for the MCB box and the electricity meter box to make it look more aesthetic. In addition, for the frame material, we chose aluminum because it is more durable. In the carport, we used three different element materials: andesite stone for the carport floor, split stone to separate the carport and terrace areas, and elephant grass to keep giving a fresh green accent.
