The facade theme of our house carries the Art Deco style with curves on the right and left. There is a game of back and forth, so that the 2nd floor building looks floating and more playful. Designing a house is a joint task. This house is our first house after 6 years of marriage. It is natural that one of us has special desires and dreams. To be fair, we divided the desires into two. 🌸 Tiny Monochrome Bathroom 🌸 The size of this bathroom is only 150x130 cm, but I insisted on a bathroom with a semi-industrial feel. There was a fear that it would look even narrower, but thank God it was still safe and didn't feel cramped when I was in it. The key is to use full white wall tiles that go all the way to the ceiling in the bathroom area in a horizontal position, to give the effect of a wider room. To emphasize the industrial feel, I chose black anti-slip tiles and dark gray wall paint for the closet area, the grouting was also deliberately black so that the bevel tiles were more exposed. Because it was so narrow, the bathroom door was made to open outward, because I was afraid of hitting the closet and feeling complicated later. This bathroom has minimal decoration, but I deliberately chose components that were indeed used that could also be decorative elements, so that they were multifunctional and didn't make it cramped. Hi! Welcome to our first home. A tiny house with a front width of 5m and a length of 12m that we designed ourselves 🫶🏼 The facade has a minimalist concept with simple geometric shapes, namely squares and triangles. Multifunctional Home Terrace 🏠 Last year, we agreed to make a small terrace in front of the house. This terrace functions as a gathering place in an open space, and also a gathering place for family or even guests who visit our house. Because our house has a limited building area, we tried to optimize the remaining land to create an open space that is comfortable to use together, and so this terrace was created. This minimalist terrace measures 3mx4m (length x width). We want to present a homey and warm concept, therefore we chose ceramic or wood textured tiles for the floor and also wood motif striped tiles as seating. In addition, for lighting we use warm light for hanging lamps and garden lights. Don't forget we added round hollow iron above the terrace which is used to dry clothes during the day. We try to maximize the function of our terrace where it can be a gathering place or a place to dry clothes.
