Reading room... I don't know why, even though this room is quite "ordinary", I always like it when I'm here.
Maybe because there is a chair made by my beloved husband hehe. Because my wife wanted to have a rattan chair but it was very expensive to send to our area, so she made it heheh.

Work Space that has Many Functions ✨✨✨
A work space that has many functions. The work space which only measures 1.5 x 2 meters is not only for my husband's work space. But it functions as a children's reading room and wife's content studio.
At home we don't use interior services, so for this room we designed and chose the furniture and others ourselves.
Even though the room is small and limited, by using good furniture and space arrangement it will feel spacious and airy. Plus, wall panels beautify the room and add to a better working mood.

Me Time Room, My Favorite Room 🪐
When is your “me time” at home? For me, it’s around 9 am to 12 noon when my child goes to school 😆
Incidentally, at home there is a little space that can be used for a “Me Time” room even though it’s only in a corner with limited space.
My “me time” time is usually spent reading some books while drinking tea. So it’s really important for me to have a bean bag just to sit, or lie down while reading a book. Don’t forget that next to the bean bag, I put a small round table just to store some books and cups of tea. With simple decorations that are already in the corner of the area to give a slightly spacious impression.
Don’t forget the soft fur carpet that I think is comfortable and really nice to sit or lie down on, it must always be in my “me time” room.

Living Room Becomes Reading Room.
We use this formal living room, which is rarely used every day, as a room to read our favorite books. It is also a room where my paintings are placed randomly. Bold and white colors dominate. Hi O!house lovers..
This is a relaxing room on the second floor whose decoration I often change according to my mood and needs. Sometimes I want to use a chair, sometimes I want to lie down on the floor, hehe. But what is clear is that it is usually used as a place to sit and relax while chatting, drinking coffee and snacking. Also used as a place to read books. We took the book from the bookshelf in the room. Why do you need a place to relax on the second floor because the children are active on the first floor😁

My Home Journey 🏡
I used to hear people say that a house is a match made in heaven. Now I understand that the expression is very true. Because the process of finding a house is not easy, there are many things to do, starting from determining the location of the house you want to live in, surveying the place, surveying the developer, finding out about the condition of the environment and its surroundings, it takes quite a long process.
So is our process with this tiny house. Our main goal is to have a house in a place that is a bit far from the crowd and away from the noise, but not too far from the city. Luckily, we were matched with our house. In terms of the environment, distance to the workplace, budget, and the environment that is quite close to the city and educational facilities, we feel quite lucky to find a house location in this housing complex.
Although the land and building area are not too big, we think our house is quite comfortable and has always been the main place for us as a place full of memories and stories of our journey.

I like changing the atmosphere at Rumi's house. Sometimes I do this in my living room. By adding a book reading spot, you can read a book while listening to the sound of water from the mini aquarium in this house.

🔆 Before-After Lazy Corner 🔆
We call it “lazy corner” because this corner is usually used to relax and laze around, whether it’s just lying down scrolling through social media or reading a book.
Previously, this area was under the stairs that hadn’t been used for anything, just a place to stop by for stuff.
Then I had an idea to make a custom cabinet to store stuff so it would be neater, but thinking again, it seemed like this living room would look cramped if the closet was full, so finally I decided to make a bench or a makeshift sofa on top of the closet.
To beautify this area, I added shelves on the walls so I could put decorative items, and also added lights around it.
The budget I spent to make this lazy corner was around 6 million, complete with decorative items, because the size of the closet is quite large.
The wooden cabinet costs 3.6 million, I customized it at a carpenter near my house with full Dutch teak wood material and coated with white HPL, then I added a gold handle to make it look more beautiful.
I bought the seat foam and cushions online separately, as well as the shelves and decorations.
Is it worth it?
