I remember before I entered the world of home decor, this room only had a carpet, a folding mattress, and a television. It was really empty and simple.
But after studying and seeing references from many neighbors online, I was finally able to design this family room to be even more beautiful.
There is a sofa bed that is the main star in this room. And there is a carpet with a matching motif and some artificial plants.
Oh, don't forget we also added an ikea standing lamp and wall art that made this room more lively and comfortable.

One of the rooms where we spend most of our time at home, from relaxing, watching TV, playing games, studying, to working.
We deliberately put a beanbag in front of the TV because it's really comfortable to lie down. In addition, there is a shoe rack in the corner which we also use to put a table lamp and decorations. The theme of this room is of course still with the concept of colorful clashing motifs 😆

This TV corner area does seem small, but I think it's perfect for a viewing room at home🩵 I actually prefer a more focused setup with minimal distractions (especially when watching serious or mystery dramas, you have to focus haha). Like on the main wall there's only a TV and a simple clock, so it's comfortable when watching, no other distracting views.
In addition, there are quite a few things to consider for this TV area: the size doesn't need to be too big, there's no light reflection when watching, especially during the day (so the viewing experience is maximized!!), and the distance between the sofa and the TV can't be too far because my eyes are nearsighted🥲🥲. For the lights, use ones that shine onto the wall for a warm & cozy ambiance, and I chose a sofa that has a section for stretching out, so watching is more comfortable.
I think the rest is enough, just find a decoration for the empty side wall so it's not too plain. Maybe a painting or other simple decoration.

The favorite moment in this house is in the afternoon, when the house is full of sunlight and becomes very bright. Especially in this family room, you can relax while watching TV
This room is made as comfortable as possible by adding a fairly large 120 x 180 sofa bed. But usually I personally prefer its position to remain like a regular sofa.
There is also a carpet that makes this room even more beautiful and can be used as a place to relax if you want to watch together.
There is a display cabinet and some artificial plants in this room too. Making the house more lively and comfortable.
