The room is actually rarely used for receiving guests.
It just so happens that the guests who come to the house are family or close relatives, and we now prefer to hang out in Paksu's study room since he's gone 🚬 so the room doesn't smell anymore ++ there's air conditioning and a sofa so it's even more comfortable.
But surprisingly I was able to fall asleep on this sofa yesterday while waiting for rendang mateng (even though I hate this sofa🤣)

The living room in this house still has a bold and warm feel, with a dark gray sofa that matches the wall paint color.
The decoration is always adjusted to the mood, which is usually changed once a month so you don't get bored. This time it is still decorated bohemian with dominant colors of caramel, terracotta and cream with additional accents of cushions and carpets with ethnic boho motifs.
For decoration details, I usually buy at e-commerce or stores like Ikea or Informa.

Hi... this is the living room in my house. Because my house is an open space model, our living room is integrated without partitions with other rooms. Even so, I want a warm ambience because my living room is our family's favorite place to gather. Just chatting, eating and watching TV, we spent a lot of time in this living room. To make it look warm, I added a carpet with an abstract motif in a color that matches the tone of my house. There wasn't much furniture, I added a TV table, coffee table and to make the atmosphere more lively I added pots with live flowers. You can see the doors and windows along with their vitrases adding to the warmth of our living room which is only 3 meters wide.

Living room transformation from 2022-2024. For the past 2 years, I have been changing the layout of the living room which didn't have a theme until finally deciding on a Japanese style theme. Since I found out about the O!House application, I really enjoy being able to get inspiration for decorating my house with various themes. Moreover, the application also provides product purchase links, so you don't need to ask the owner of the house again 🤭🤭
Why did you choose the Japanese theme? Because Japanese is synonymous with wood and I've always liked things that smell like wood, it makes the feel of the house warmer, calmer and more homey 🤎🤍

Who's house rarely has guests visiting?
This is my house, because we know that there will be very few people visiting, so we tried to design this tiny living room by utilizing a small spot in the corner of the living room, the rest we use for more of a family room by using a larger sofa with a non-formal impression, and for the guest area itself we make a more formal impression. The living room can only accommodate 2 guests because it is very narrow 😂

The only furniture is a 2 seater sofa, 100 x 120 rugs and a coffee table. Decoration items are usually bought according to needs in online shops or at IKEA, but still mix and match with what you have at home.

Multifunction Entrance Room
This small living room measures 2.4 x 2.8m. After the main door is opened, go straight into this room. In addition to being able to receive small numbers of guests, it also sometimes functions as a children's tutoring room.
Built-in cabinets fill the empty walls as a vocal point. Multiplex material coated with HPL wood motif adds a warm impression. Cabinets for storing items to make the house tidier and also to organize decorative items.
