Casa de Likan has a total of 4 bathrooms, one on the ground floor, one in the hallway on the 2nd floor and one more in the master bedroom, an additional bathroom in the ART room. This time we will discuss the bathroom in the master bedroom and in the hallway on the 2nd floor, still carrying the Mediterranean tropical theme but with softer colors than the other rooms, not forgetting accents such as custom lights and glass that match the theme, we also made custom tiles on the walls to the factory so that they could be adjusted to our wishes, for the tiles on the floor we used the Roman granite brand with a wood pattern that was ready on the market, the walls still used Jotun paint with a certain painting technique so that the walls were textured.

This is the work desk at our house which is next to the coffee corner.
Some time ago I installed a convex mirror (last slide).
I DIYed this convex mirror by changing the paint color to cream 💕🥰 so it matches more with the room.
I really like the results... it makes the room more unique and can be used as a manual CCTV to look after children too 😅 just look up and see what the little one is doing 😁

At 3:00 PM, sunlight will start to enter the house through this window. The bench and gray carpet are one of my favorite places to drink coffee. I simply added a small table to store coffee or a few snacks. When sunlight enters, it makes this room more aesthetic, right 🤩

This time I will discuss the children's favorite room, yes.. the dining room!
Still with the Moroccan theme, so the elements of wood and raw are still very visible, for the walls still using techniques like other rooms, plus natural stone accents between the family room and dining room, for this natural stone accent we use tiles from Roman to make it easier to install but the look is still okay, then for the dining table of course made of wood... for the chairs we use 3 types of chairs, rattan chairs, teak chairs and teak lounge chairs, not forgetting the rattan hanging lamp which is the center of attention.

As a girl whose eyes are minus 5, you definitely need big mirrors like this in your bedroom. Apart from doing outfit checks, I also like to use this mirror for grooming at a distance of 1cm from my face 🙂 that's why I can't use a dressing table, because the table creates a distance that makes it difficult for me to see when dressing up. Especially eye make up🤪. Yes, that's how this glass corner was created.

This time we will share pocket-friendly materials that add to the aesthetics of Casa de Likan!
You can see in all the photo slides of Casa de Likan, there are wooden materials in almost all the ceilings in our house, fun fact .. the wood comes from several trees that we cut down on the Casa de Likan land before it was built! Although it is not free because it still has to be cut neatly and finished well, the cost is very pocket-friendly, and when installed of course it can fit into the Mediterranean theme!
Then there are several interior items made of water hyacinth (which are clearly very cheap) that can fit into the theme and match the wooden installation around the room.

The most comfortable place to relax for our family at Casa de Likan is the back garden, in the back garden we created a beautiful corner to relax, work, joke with family or even just daydream and sip a cup of coffee or tea.
Our back garden was inspired by the garden in Jardin Majorelle, Morocco where contrasting colors blend with ornamental plants (dominated by cowboy cacti) and produce a beautiful and unique garden, not to forget the fountain is made as similar as possible to the original in Morocco.
Back to the comfortable corner in the back garden, the chairs we use we bought in Jepara then we asked to be painted with orange duco to contrast with the blue and white colors around it, it turned out that this chair actually became very eye-catching, but still very comfortable to look at 💙

The living room is our family's favorite room to gather besides the dining table.. therefore a warm ambience is the ambience we want in the living room, an L-shaped sofa plus a pouffe and a rattan swing that hangs beautifully, enough to accommodate our family to chat here, besides accommodating all members comfortably, the selection of these items is also very much in accordance with the Moroccan theme in our house, blending with the wooden elements that we stick on the ceiling of the house as a decorative item to add an element of "warmth".. oh yeah don't forget because we want a little tropical impression we also put some artificial plants in the Casa de Likan living room.

Yes finally we discuss the bedroom yes online neighbors, for us home is a place to return to rest, so we want to create a warm comfortable atmosphere to the point of not wanting to leave the house or even wanting to always return home, one of our main focuses is to make the bedroom as comfortable as possible, the arrangement is easier according to you, because there is already a guide from the beginning of making a house with Moroccan Mediterranean friends, the homework is just mix and match and here and there looking for room contents that match the theme and according to your wishes.
For the floor, to be comfortable we use vinyl taco flooring, different from the floors around the house, then for the sheets are made custom so that the colors can match the theme of the house, rattan lamps and rattan headboards also add to the feel of the Mediterranean house, don't forget the lighting and good air circulation by making windows as wide as the room, and also painting ornaments with colors that match the theme of the house.

During the construction of Casa de Likan, we decided to build a house that must be child-friendly, in addition to using the best paint with bright colors so that children's sensory is formed well, and of course it must be anti-toxic and easy to clean, we made a mini room with a small door like a hobbit house, which looks very beautiful on the outside but inside it contains dangerous garden tools, gas, gallons, brooms, mops, etc. so that they cannot be reached by children (we deliberately made the door difficult to open).

Good evening from the cold city of Bandung! Our house is located in North Bandung where the temperature at night is usually quite cold, so we want to create a warm vibe at night, very suitable for the cold temperature in Bandung, right?
For the lights in our house, almost 80% use warm white, but because it's dark, in our favorite corner in the back garden we installed white lights that can illuminate almost the entire back garden. But because we really want to create a warm vibe, we installed decorative lights in warm white in some corners, such as on the walls and also on our plants, we installed small garden spotlights, even though they are small they can still give a warm vibe, right?

Color Palette Casa de Likan

Still continuing from our vacation story to Morocco in 2019, we got a different experience when we went around the housing and villages in the area, especially when we visited Jardin Majorelle, the house of the maestro YSL, we were surprised because the colors clashed but blended beautifully with each other. It turns out, these colors are a depiction of the blend of cultures from various ethnicities, Europe Africa especially the barbarian tribe! Yes, we immediately clicked and agreed to make a house with a mix of colorful colors like in Morocco.
The base color remains white so that it is safe, we add other colors such as blue, orange, green and yellow. After the house is finished, we decided to add decorative paint meaningful paintings with these colors, don't forget we fill the interior of the house carefully so that it remains safe to enter the color palette of the house.

Relaxing on the rooftop looking at the city of Bandung surrounded by mountains in the afternoon is truly enjoyable, just bring a cup of tea made in the kitchen and brought to the rooftop, it feels so expensive to daydream from afternoon to night!
Talking about rooftop, We always carefully choose the materials used when building a house and filling the house, such as paint which of course must be strong and durable in Indonesia's tropical temperatures, and also outdoor chairs that have not needed any service or maintenance at all for almost 3 years because we bought them for outdoor use and use the best brands, not to forget the concrete roster that covers less beautiful areas such as the tower and service room, we use the best design and materials.
