𝑹𝙤𝒐𝙛𝒕𝙤𝒑 as a relaxing area. 𝑹𝙤𝒐𝙛𝒕𝙤𝒑 #rumahlimut is located on the 3rd floor. The area is only 10m x 3.17m and is located along the 𝒄𝙖𝒓𝙥𝒐𝙧𝒕 & kitchen area on the floor. 1 or along the parlor & service area 2nd floor The stairs leading to #𝒓𝙤𝒐𝙛𝒕𝙤𝒑 are made of cast cement painted black and white with a glass skylight roof. Floor #𝒓𝙤𝒐𝙛𝒕𝙤𝒑 was chosen using black and white ceramic chess/harlequin motifs to be consistent with the theme of the ground floor terrace. In this area we installed a canopy made of iron with a classic design. For the seating area, we made a 𝙛𝒍𝙤𝒂𝙩𝒊𝙣𝒈 𝒃𝙚𝒏𝙘𝒉 made of concrete with two electrical sockets with protective cover from weather and rain. As a relaxing area, in the canopy area we have prepared a 𝒑𝙪𝒍𝙡 𝙤𝒖𝙩 𝙥𝒊𝙘𝒏𝙞𝒄 𝒄𝙝𝒂𝙞𝒓𝙨 made of teak wood with white ducco paint. Some accessories to beautify this area, we added heat-resistant hanging flower plants, bougainvillea flower pots & the addition of #𝒍𝙞𝒈𝙝𝒕 𝒔𝙩𝒓𝙞𝒏𝙜𝒔 which makes the atmosphere more romantic in the afternoon approaching night in this area. There are still 2 children in this house, so the choice of furniture here is more child-friendly in terms of safety and cleaning. Here are some child-friendly furniture materials in our house: 1. Stairs with SPC and step nosing Previously, the stairs in this house were made of granite with sharp ends, which made it dangerous for children going up and down the stairs. We coated the granite with SPC and installed a step nose at the end of the elbow so that the elbow was more blunt and safe for children. 2. Furniture with rounded ends such as dining tables, coffee tables, bedside tables, study tables. Most of the tables in our house have rounded ends so as not to injure children. 3. Floor Bed We customized this bed/divan without legs because when our child was still a baby he was prone to falling while sleeping, so we finally chose a low divan to make it safer for the baby. 4. Sofa with removable backrest and seat covers. So when the sofa is dirty or spilled with liquid, we can immediately wash the cover without the hassle of calling a sofa cleaning service. 5. Short-haired/non-fur carpet. Although in terms of looks and hand feel it is not as good as a thick rug. However, in terms of maintenance and cleaning, this thin carpet is very easy to clean if your little one spills something. One of my favorite corners in the house is this stair area, small but comfortable. The color tone we chose for this area is the same as in the living area. In the past, when we were looking for a second home in this complex because this is an old cluster, it was a bit difficult to find a house that fit our wishes.
