The stairs at Angka House are rarely exposed because our house is not perfect and still has 1 floor, because the house is growing we are making stairs to the 2nd floor in the future to make the renovation process easier.

This staircase was designed by my husband with a U-shape (adjusting the place) to maximize the land, the bottom has a kitchen in line and a washing machine + refrigerator, at first glance this staircase is not visible in the living room because the stairs are next to the bedroom wall

The finishing used is epoxy to make it easy to clean and beautify the room

The stairs are covered with matt granite with an oak colored wood motif. Apart from being non-slip, this granite gives a warm impression to the house. Under the stairs there is a bathroom whose floor is 1 step lower so that the floor outside is not exposed to splashes of water from the bathroom.

Good afternoon from ladder and voyer casaaksadaru. There's nothing interesting hehe, only one advantage, "abundant light"☀️
This minimalist hollow iron staircase was originally not covered with wood tightly like this, but because there was a hole in Casaaksadaru, it became like this. For safety's sake, if you're small, if you walk on the stairs, you won't fall down. This stairwell area is just occupied by two green plants and the walls are still clean. Hehe, I'm still confused about how to decorate it later. Look forward to it ✌🏻
2nd floor Voyer (hopefully the spelling is correct) which connects the main bedroom with 2 other rooms. Voyer is quite spacious and still quiet actually, considering it's only been here for 2 years hehe. There's just a little decorative touch, hopefully it can provide inspiration, neighbors.

Floating Stairs ala Deiraa.House 🥰
Yessss our dream floating floor in our first home
Although NOT on a glass railing, this staircase is quite wide and has steps that are not high (does not make you tired of climbing the stairs)
In this void area there is a dead glass window that is wide enough so that outside light can enter freely making the house automatically bright without additional lights during the day ☺️
And what I like the most is when the weather is sunny, we can see the sunset view of the sky from this window (like a very beautiful painting of Allah SWT) 😍

Let's talk about the stairs in our house!
In this small house, there are two stairs. One goes to the 2nd floor and the other to the 3rd floor. The fun thing is, these two stairs use different materials! We chose permanent cement for the first staircase, so that the area below it can be used for cabinets. While the second staircase uses iron, so that light from the skylight can penetrate to the area below.
Because of the limited space, the staircase design is made in a U-shape. Although the materials are different, the design remains uniform, so it looks harmonious.
To maximize light, we added a skylight above the 3rd floor. So, from morning to afternoon you can enjoy the sunlight, and at night you can peek at the stars from there.

The thing that makes this area a favorite area in the house is because of the many wooden elements that we use both as wall decoration accents, stepnosing and stair hand railings.
This wooden element makes the stair area warmer and more aesthetic. Creating a focal point in the stair area is also an interesting idea so that the stair area doesn't seem monotonous and plain

Something trivial, but crucial: stairs 🪜
Because here we are talking about safety, comfort, and also look—it is fitting in our house.
Initially, the stairs on the 1st floor in #RumahSeupil were not like the ones in this photo. It was a complete failure! Steep and messy, I suspected that the craftsman was an amateur. THEN, I changed craftsmen to someone who usually makes iron stairs and the result was much neater and more pleasing to the eye (I don’t know why) like the proportions fit perfectly in the house. It was comfortable to use, not steep at all.
The point is, you can’t just make stairs carelessly. You have to be careful in choosing the craftsman, because a real craftsman understands: 1) the distance between 1 step and the other 2) the ideal size of the steps and the height of the railing 3) the choice of iron paint ✨

This stair area is actually very simple and minimally decorated, but it always becomes the center of attention for everyone who visits the house.

Stair inspiration
The stairs in @arieskamarina's house use conwood decorative stairs painted using conwood in a matte walnut brown color so that it looks like wood. The colors brown, beige and white are still dominant like in other areas of this house which carries earth tones as the color palette.

The stair material is from Conwood which is finished in dark brown to give a homey vibe...
One of the best decisions was choosing this Conwood material because it is sturdy, the texture is like wood, it has been more than 2 years, thank God, it is durable, no damage or complaints...

The stair railing uses 12 mm Tempered Glass & wooden handrail. The stair floor uses solid camphor wood & the riser uses super white Durafloor Granite Tiles to match the granite living room floor.

This foyer and staircase area is a statement in itself in our home. With a combination of warm wood on the stair treads, combined with simple yet elegant exposed cement, the end result? Modern-industrial that is pleasing to the eye. ✨
The vintage wooden console table with rattan weaving in this foyer is not only a sweetener, but also functions to organize small items so they don't get messy. And if there are guests, they are immediately greeted with a Van Gogh painting that is a favorite in the house! The art is there, the aesthetics are there.
Small details such as warm lights on the stairs also make the atmosphere warmer and more aesthetic, especially at night. The point is, just entering the house makes your heart calm.

The staircase area in Delasa House is simple and plain. For the floor, I deliberately differentiated it from the main floor in the house, here I used a rather dark wood motif granite, combined with a minimalist black stair railing combined with wood accents on the handrail.

Even though the railing hasn't been installed yet, this staircase has attracted quite a lot of attention. The brown color with a wooden motif makes the stairs still look aesthetic even though they are not yet functioning optimally because the second floor is not yet finished. On the walls I added wall decor so it wasn't too plain.
