These stairs were really steep before, but after adding wooden stairs underneath and railings, they became super comfortable. The steps are also ideal, this is important when making stairs. The size must be ideal, not just any old thing.

The main theme of this house style is mid-century Japan. We tried to adapt the mid-century theme which is generally dominated by solid wood characters, loose furniture, with deep color tones and a little pop out from various additional decorations. We also added the character of a 'Japanese home in Showa era' which is more 'clutter' compared to 'Japanese zen home' or 'Japanese minimalism'.
For now, only the 1st floor can we give a touch of mid-century Japan. Our next project also wants to decorate the 2nd floor with the same theme 🤗❤️

The stairs in this ceirabox are L-shaped with a total of 22 steps. Made as ergonomic as possible to be more comfortable when used. The trap uses conwood so it is more comfortable to step on and is termite-proof.
For the railing, use 16 iron axles and add decorations to make it sweeter. For the handle, use solid wood.

This is the staircase in my house, there was a debate when making it. I wanted to use a landing, while my husband wanted it to be straight, considering it didn't take up much space. To give a simple and minimalist impression, the stair railings are made like bars with wooden handles. With a base made of granite tiles with a wooden motif to match. To increase lighting as well as aesthetics, I added plant lights on the walls. And this is the result of the stairs in our house.

Small stairs, which are a bit steep due to limited land. But still relatively safe. Where is the safety standard, from our daily lives 😁 it's not that we don't want to make safe and comfortable stairs, but limited land makes us have to think hard. Finally we decided to make stairs with iron. The size of the stairs is 25x60 cm and coated with GRC at the bottom to keep it safe. So when one day this house grows, it is rebuilt. These stairs are easier to move or use for other things ✨

One of the things that attracted us to this housing was the stairs. The model is unique, made from Kalimantan sungkai wood and hollow iron. This area doesn't need too much decoration, because basically, the stairs alone already have an identity.
Here we only add mirrors and ornamental plants.
The selling point of this staircase is the direct sunlight from the skylight above, which makes it even more aesthetic.
