One of them involves replacing one art piece with the sunburst mirror. Pics no. 2 and no. 6 show the end results of coloring mirror surfaces with magic markers. I did that with those mirrors that i used in previous apartments. I didn’t have paints on hand. So, I experimented by using coloring markers. It allows you to still see reflection in the mirrors and they are still glossy. So, it’s like a tinting” effect. Warning! If you do the magic marker technique, make sure that your clothes don’t brush up against the tinted mirror. Pic no. 3 shows a windowpane style mirror that i found at thrift. Pic no. 4 shows a Mid- Century Modern style mirror. The black colored part was originally a whitewashed wood color. When I bought it, I thought that I would one day stain it a pretty Walnut color. But since I decided to put it on my pink wall, the choice of coloring it with a Sharpie marker made sense as to make a dramatic color impact. Pic no. 5 shows a round mirror and a full length mirror leaning against a wall by my apartment’s entrance door. Pic no. 7 shows two mirrors in my bedroom’s gallery wall. And finally, Pic no. 8 shows two mirrors stacked together in my bedroom creating an alternative to a full length mirror so that i could see most of my body.
