𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐔𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐝𝐢 #rumahlimut, from being narrow because there are gaps and messy because there are no gaps, to being neater & more comfortable! ✨ This 2x3.2m bathroom transformation is a 𝒎𝙮 𝙙𝒓𝙚𝒂𝙢 𝙗𝒂𝙩𝒉𝙧𝒐𝙤𝒎. With a 𝒕𝙞𝒎𝙚𝒍𝙚𝒔𝙨 𝙘𝒉𝙞𝒄 design, we open the ceiling a little for the 𝙨𝒌𝙮𝒍𝙞𝒈𝙝𝒕 above the sink area so that natural light can enter. This bathroom is accessible from the master bedroom and directly 𝒄𝙤𝒏𝙣𝒆𝙘𝒕𝙚𝒅 through a door to the 𝙬𝒂𝙡𝒌-𝒊𝙣 𝙘𝒍𝙤𝒔𝙚𝒕. The floor & walls are fully up using 120x60cm marble motif granite without removing the old ceramics to cut costs and shorten the 𝙩𝒊𝙢𝒆 𝒇𝙧𝒂𝙢𝒆 work. Specifically for the bathroom area, we differentiate the walls by using 𝒛𝙚𝒍𝙡𝒊𝙜𝒆 𝒕𝙞𝒍𝙚 (Moroccan ceramics) to maintain an “organic” feel. To create a “warm” atmosphere, we chose 𝙨𝒉𝙤𝒘𝙚𝒓, faucets & bidets in 𝙜𝒐𝙡𝒅, several features with brass & silver materials. 🌸 Tiny Monochrome Bathroom 🌸 The size of this bathroom is only 150x130 cm, but I insisted on a bathroom with a semi-industrial feel. There was a fear that it would look even narrower, but thank God it was still safe and didn't feel cramped when I was in it. The key is to use full white wall tiles that go all the way to the ceiling in the bathroom area in a horizontal position, to give the effect of a wider room. To emphasize the industrial feel, I chose black anti-slip tiles and dark gray wall paint for the closet area, the grouting was also deliberately black so that the bevel tiles were more exposed. Because it was so narrow, the bathroom door was made to open outward, because I was afraid of hitting the closet and feeling complicated later. This bathroom has minimal decoration, but I deliberately chose components that were indeed used that could also be decorative elements, so that they were multifunctional and didn't make it cramped. Minimalist Master Bathroom.. The main goal of minimalist design in our master bathroom is simple luxury and easy maintenance. Luxury in terms of materials is a middle to upper level. Not so many accessories that make the look simple. Some of the materials used I chose carefully and read a lot of reviews: 1. Bathroom floor (shower floor), rocktile type is not so rough on the feet but feels matte, when exposed to soapy water it does not feel slippery. Very safe to use until old age. 2. I use dark brown glossy granite floor for the toilet area and hand washing station. The look is luxurious but gives a natural impression. 3. I have been using an electric water heater since 2018. So far it is safe to use. 4. A comfortable and easy maintenance sitting toilet is also important, because it does not require a lot of soap. Just brush it regularly without soap so it is very safe for bacteria in the septic tank. 5. I chose soap dish accessories from waterproof aluminum material. This bathroom is a private bathroom in #rumahlimut. The size is only 2x3.2m with two doors connected to the master bedroom and to the walk-in closet area. This master bathroom design is my dream bathroom. Inspired by the timeless chic style of French Country bathrooms, we chose a shower, towel rack, and several vintage accessories. A skylight above the wash-bashin area becomes a path for natural light to enter beautifully every day. I like a clean & bright bathroom with maximum lighting. Therefore, we chose white from the floor to the full wall to the top using 120x60cm marble motif granite. We differentiate the shower area walls by using zellige tile (handcrafted Moroccan ceramics) so that there is still an "organic" impression so that it can soften and give character to the surrounding marble walls. The shower enclosure uses 12mm thick tempered glass with a curved design at the top so that it gives a stylish impression. Some ways to create a “warm” atmosphere in this bathroom include the choice of shower, faucet & bidet in gold, several features with genuine brass & silver materials, the choice of wood motif Taco sheet for the vanity and the choice of solid wood material for the door to the walk-in closet. In the closet wall area, we installed an old hanging glass cabinet that we painted & redesigned to store our perfume collection. As for the sitting closet and under-mount wash-basin, we chose a vintage design. On the other side, there is a vanity measuring 120x60 cm. The inside of the drawer is coated with PVC to make it more waterproof. We deliberately made it floating so that the bottom is easy to clean.
