One of my favorites in this house is the open space concept that combines the kitchen and dining room. With a size of 3.2 x 5.5 m, this design not only makes the room feel more spacious, but also makes daily activities more practical and comfortable! 💡
🔹 Minimalist Kitchen with Kitchen Island:
The kitchen island in the middle is not only for cooking, but also a multi-purpose area for snacking or chatting while cooking. The table top uses wood-patterned granite, creating a warm but elegant atmosphere.
🔹 Simple & Cozy Dining Room:
With minimalist furniture and natural elements such as linen and wood decorations, the dining room is a comfortable place for my little family. Especially with the addition of ergonomic chairs that support aesthetics as well as comfort.
🔹 Maximum Lighting:
The use of white pendant lights and natural light access from large windows keep the room bright without having to over-decorate.

Hi Ohouse neighbors! This is what the master bedroom looks like and is the only room in this house😊
This master bedroom was the living room before the house was renovated, because the room used to be 3x3m and the living room before the renovation was 3x5m, after being renovated, this living room was finally made into a bedroom so that the size was much wider and more spacious, items and details finally didn't pile up so much after the room moved here.
The arrangement of this room is still minimalist for now, I will later use sage green, white and brown color choices for the tone in this room 🥰

This is what the living room looks like when a nephew or friend's child comes over. The position that was previously facing the TV is now reversed (slide 5 photo), so that the display is safer and out of reach of children.
Some child-friendly decoration items include:
1. Anti-Slip Carpet: Not easy to shift and safe for children to play, with a smooth texture of synthetic silk (viscose).
2. Soft Cushion Cover: Various types with soft materials, safe for small children.
3. Sofa Throw Blanket: Protects the white sofa when children play.

Affordable materials in #rumahmaknaa
One of the most expensive costs when building a house is finishing. From the start, we wanted a house with wooden elements to give a warm impression. Honestly, we wanted to use teak wood which is known to be strong and durable but it's expensive 😫.
Due to the limited budget, we finally adjusted some things, for example:
1. Choosing to use Dutch teak wood instead of teak wood as stair treads. The price is much cheaper than teak wood and thank God it's still good after 3 years.
2. Choosing to use vinyl instead of parquet flooring. In addition to being cheaper, vinyl flooring is also claimed to be durable.
In addition, another room that we adjusted the budget for was the bathroom. We used subway tile wall tiles which are affordable.
Currently, there are more affordable materials that are functional and aesthetic. The key is to find out a lot. Hopefully the information is useful🤍.

✨ Simple but functional corner at home! ✨
I designed this area with a minimalist concept but still aesthetic. The combination of vertical wood panels and large round mirrors makes this corner look more attractive without looking excessive.
1️⃣ Wood panels:
This material not only beautifies the walls, but also makes the atmosphere warmer and more comfortable. It is very suitable for highlighting decorative elements such as mirrors.
2️⃣ Large round mirror:
Its main function is of course to make the room feel more spacious, but it also becomes an aesthetic focal point that makes this area stand out.

The old kitchen has been upgraded, the vibes are immediately very different! The right choice of materials turns out to have a big impact, especially in limited space. Well, here are the changes that make an ordinary kitchen extraordinary:
1. Concrete table? Bye-bye! Now use black tough top with granite motif. Cooler, more elegant, and super durable.
2. New sink, two basins. Washing dishes is more spacious, very suitable for me who is on the "prefer washing dishes than cooking" team 🤣.
3. Vinyl flooring from Taco makes the kitchen very homey. The warm vibes are there, the cozyness is maximized.

The bedroom in #rumahmaknaa is 5 x 3.5 meters. But the sleeping area used is only 3.5 x 3.5 meters. The rest is used as a work area.
I use a 180 x 200 cm mattress. So that it doesn't look full, I use a short divan. To make it more comfortable, I choose a quality mattress, pillows, bolsters, sheets and blankets. In my opinion, this really supports the comfort of the bedroom.
The addition of a table lamp with warm colors and a reed diffuser makes the room feel more comfortable.

Small houses don't always have to be cramped. With a minimal partition concept, our house feels more spacious even though it only has an area of 66m2.

One of the materials that makes the bedroom #rumahmaknaa comfortable is vinyl. I recommend my online neighbors to use vinyl in their bedrooms too.
I use TACO Parma Oak 3mm vinyl. The color is dark brown so it makes the room warmer. It's been installed for 3 years, thank God it's still safe.
Another thing that makes the bedroom more comfortable in my opinion is the inner & duvet cover. It really looks different if you don't use a duvet (see the last slide).
Incidentally, the inner duvet that I use is quite thick so it is indeed heavy. But it feels and looks softer. I like it! The downside is that if you want to store it, it takes up space.
