This House, Our Story 16 years ago, we found this house—a new cluster house, and it immediately felt comfortable since we first moved in. Over time, the need for space increased, and the house began to ‘demand’ repairs here and there. Until finally, about 4 years ago, we decided to do a total renovation. Not without consideration, of course. We had thought about moving to a new house, but after calculating it, renovation felt more reasonable. The budget was more controlled, and most importantly, we could design the house according to our own needs and tastes. One of the things that made us fall in love with this house is the fairly spacious public facilities area at the back that can be used by the cluster residents—of course with certain rules. Plus a simple, low-maintenance, functional, and healthy design with lots of light and air circulation from large windows on each side of the house.
