Home office in the afternoon approaching evening ✨
We use this desk when we are WFH, working on freelance work, or there is unfinished work in the office. In the future, it can be a study or tutoring table for children too.
Our teak wood desk is custom-sized from Jepara. It is deliberately positioned in the middle and we give it a large opening to the garden void and can have a brick wall background. We decorate it with ornamental plants to refresh the eyes when tired and need inspiration.
There is a fairly large cable storage because of the many cables and also a bookshelf to put some books and files. Shelves for equipment and printers on one side so that the table remains free. In addition, there are also table lamps and wall lamps for a more comfortable ambience.

•Turning the Hallway into a Productive Space•
I never thought that this small hallway could be maximized into a work space & mini studio.
The small hallway in front of the main bedroom was originally going to be a "Tiny Garden". However, over time, this room has become a transit place for packages more often, and it turns out that my husband & I need more space to work than a garden. At night my husband usually uses it to do work from the office, while in the afternoon until evening I usually use it as a "Mini Studio" for unboxing, creating content & photos of endorsed products, this spot is very suitable as a studio because the top of this hallway uses transparent zinc so there is no need to use additional lighting anymore.
Tip: It turns out that just by adding molding accents to the walls and covering the floor with vinyl, this hallway immediately looks different and more attractive than before.

The table area is actually limited, and there are lots of books and prints that need to be placed. Strategy, appropriate storage area, according to size. Or even, choose items that are the right size for the available space

At first I was confused about where to put this work desk, in the end it was here. Because the space is small, I raised the shelf that was supposed to be on the floor above the table but still drilled it so that it was strong and didn't become a burden on the table. Tiny houses really require us to be more creative in maximizing space 🫠

For the basic color of the work room and furniture, we use neutral colors such as white and beige, but we include lots of colored decorations so that it is not monotonous and feels more alive. 🌿✨
Our favorite item in this room is the orange VARMBLIXT lamp from IKEA. We bought it in Japan, unfortunately this lamp is not included in IKEA Indonesia. 🥺

To make the working area more fun to work in, number 1 of course has to be neat first. Choose a table design with drawers or add storage on the work table or wall.

I recently switched up my room layout, I swapped the position of my work area and bed. Lately, the afternoon sunlight from the window has been more intense than usual, so I decided to move my desk which was originally next to the window.
It feels weirdly new, I’ve never had my desk in this corner before. It’s located in a corner of the room with minimal natural light. However, I’m starting to like the vibe in this corner, and I’ve noticed I can focus better now. Maybe because of the new atmosphere and I’m not easily distracted by looking out the window anymore while working🥹
I think it’s exactly the change I needed to get my creativity flowing again~🎨💡

The design of this room was originally a bedroom, then we changed the style to be a bit industrial, but we felt the style didn't match the other rooms, so in the end we completely replaced all the furniture for this area.
And here is the final result! Dominated by birch wood colors and most of the furniture is from IKEA.
Now this room is the room that we think is the most aesthetic, supported by good natural light. 🌞✨
